This incredible show better have a second season.
Season 1 and 2 were made at the same time
I love when Marlon plays serious roles. 😩 this show is everything!
Marlon Wayans ain't joking around in comedy on this show
I’ve never seen Marlon so serious before 😂
Lawd the way this scene isn't talked enough about. The moment he corrected himself to say "Phil started getting rich" I knew what was up in him and Will's mom relationship.
Wills mom was a jealous narscaist
I like this version, really dramatises the whole scene.
But I also like the original slow build up to Will's realisation and subsequent rage that his father was always a chump.
Which is punctuated by the aggressively warm embrace he shares with Uncle Phil.
This version is awful
Marlon Wayans👏👏 ... hats off to you my brother... that's some brilliant acting 🎬
Will Smith did a great job in his scene and i wasn't expecting much from this but Marlon really delivered.
Never really was interested in "drama fresh prince" but that scene sold me on it FR.
Man.... kudos to Marlon's acting man. I didn't know he could become a serious actor like that. He should've ditched comedy and done this a long time ago. The guy is talented.
everyone’s saying the original was better, of course, but this is still good. this is the first scene i’ve watched from this iteration now i’m intrigued
i'm not gonna lie, I was skeptical about this show right up until this scene that just popped up on my YT timeline...... this scene was for real.
Powerful scenes, the father had to check himself and fall way back & humble himself.
Marlon is so underrated
Im so used to seeing Marlon Wayans do comedy but this is phenomenal acting right here
The way he said "take that bass out your voice" instantly reminded me of his character in "Marlon"
He deserve it!! Marlon deserves a Emmy awards for real!!! No lie. It inspired me wow
The original scene couldnt be replicated. But im happy that something new and separate was created here. This was something the new fresh prince needed to kind of create its own reflection instead of being in front of the "Old Mirror" so to speak. I like this. and if anyone doesnt, because of the old one, i can understand your POV.
Marlon can absolutely act!!! I suggest for everyone to watch requiem for a dream. Maybe marlons best drama acting chops
Original was sadness but some hope because of Uncle Phil hugging him.
This is just pure rage.
You mean pure garbage.
Didn't think I'd see the day where a reboot was amazing
