    For those wanting to dip their toes in the world of metal build figures but don't want to go broke from buying Bandai's Metal Build Gundams or the super robots of Soul of Chogokin, the MoShow figures are very attractively priced. It is not backed by a world-famous IP but these are very well built and very competitively priced compared to those Japanese brands.

    • @sigerlion8608
      @sigerlion8608 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      It's twice the size of a metal build and half the price of many of them.

    • @drenx87
      @drenx87 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      most cases, the japanese brands like bandai and chogokin doesn't even tend to have a lot of diecast in them.... them fuckers are getting ridiculously expensive

      Far superior build quality and QC as well.

      As an avid collector of Metal Builds and having now tried out Moshow, Cangdao/Zen of Collectible, Threezero, and Heatboys figures, I will likely not be buying MB's again. Almost every figure has some sort of QC issue, loose joints, paint imperfections, obvious gate marks, yet cost upwards of $300+ whereas these for the most part cost LESS than $200 and I have yet to find a single issue with any of them.

      The amount of articulation and engineering packed into this figure is amazing for the price point. It has so much that more expensive Gundam metal builds don't have, including LEDs. I would choose this over those any day. It's a very impressive 3rd party figure.

    These Moshow figures absolutely destroy anything Bandai have ever done with their Metal Builds. And they're cheaper...

      The company (moshoytoys) take heavy inspiration from a mecha series called kainar which is a Chinese Gundam kinda of series. And it's a pretty good show.

    Crazy how making ten hand molds and painting them is easier than making two articulated hands. Love this though

    • @yarkinkyrie8947
      @yarkinkyrie8947 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Making articulated hands is not that hard. But making good articulated hands that will last and hold weapons firmly is not easy. That's why 3rd party or KO companies like to make articulated hands (as a sales gimmick mostly) while big companies choose to make good molded hands to control quality.

    It's name 武成侯 can be loosely translated into "Militarily-Accomolised Earl". In the cartoon settings this mech is powered by the spirit of a famous general who helped the First Emperor conquering the warring kingdoms.

    This figure is almost perfect, the only thing that's holding me back is an anime series. There's just a connection in knowing or seeing your figure in action that makes you want to have them display.

      There actually is an accompanying cartoon/comic series made by the same company. Not sure if it has made to the English internet yet
