Awesome finds / WW2 relics !
So...the "stripes" on the "drive band" (copper...) appeared after the shell was fired (the "mark" of the tank/cannon barrel)...?!?
Indeed, it looks like there was a heavy duel between americans and germans...!
A GW43 rifle magazine is a very rare WW2 relic ! ...at least after what I saw on TH-cam...
A panzerfaust is always a awesome WW2 relic (different 'models'...) !!
THAT K98k ammo clip, "atached" to that panzerfaust...!! Did you 'detach' it...??
I think you must also continue the exploration on bank of that lake !

Thanks! Yes, before the shell was fired, the copper band was smooth, the stripes are imprinted in it, because there are grooves placed in the guns barrel to give the shell a spin around its axis during the flight. This would allow for more accurate shots. The G43 mag was a cool find indeed. I havent seen it being found a lot either. Cheers

What do you think...could a shell be recognized/identified "with the help"... of the "stripes" (on pieces of the 'drive band'...AFTER the shell exploded...) ?!?

I get this vid was posted a while ago but if you see this comment. I do a lot of crabbing and to keep the catch from getting away i just to a big plastic container on a body board and it holds a lot and is stable

Magnetfishing in Europe is so much cooler than in America. I’d be lowkey paranoid some of the explosives were still active, but also really excited. (Y’all clearly haven’t blown any limbs off doing this, though. Thankfully!)
