I would like to use it for nature shots, for example at the seaside, but also for concert shots and filming my dog. What would be the "right" or "better" gimbal?
The fact that you may go under slung for low to the ground shots make me side a bit more with Flow Pro. Hohem iSteady M6 is amazing if you need heavier payloads and wider range of motion but you may need to bend a bit more for low to the ground shots. Hope this helps! 🤘🏼😀

The Flow Pro supports 360 Infinite Pan Tracking and the Flow doesn't.(as I saw from The Drone Tech's comparison video) Actually, if it is ok for you, can you make a comparison video of the Flow and Flow Pro while shooting a 360 panorama???... No other creator has shown the complete pano photo taking process on TH-cam, so, if you do I'll really be grateful.
In my tests the process is very similar and results are almost identical. The path the gimbal takes is a bit different but results are great on both. Ill revisit this just in case anything has changed but regardless both are excellent options for 360 iPhone captures.
Oh, and just in case you or the viewers didn’t know you can use the Insta360 camera app and configure it with ProRes and Apple log which none of the others does unless you use a different camera app.
Does the MagSafe mount always snaps at the right position on the iPhone? I think it always snaps at the right position on the gimbal due to a marker on the magnetic plate.

Most stabilizers having incorporated a port in the back arm to avoid issues. I am glad Insta360 did not make any changes to this. Because of the spotlight and microphones mainly. 🤘🏼
OM6 is a great gimbal! Tracking is great but limited to their app. Insta360 Flow Pro allows tracking with 3rd party apps on compatible iPhone devices! Great for streaming and using outside of the manufacturers software. 🤘🏼

With the Magnetic Phone Clamp (recommended) you should be fine. With the Magnetic Phone Mount make sure you have a MagSafe case or similar and that it’s not a super bulky one. Balance may be thrown off a bit.

@@EMTFILMS I had recently purchased the M6. While putting the gimbal into the sleep mode, the AI piece fell on the floor and broke apart. I kind of reassembled it and it can work. This design appears to be a weakness. Hohem appears to recognize that and has made an improvement. Now magnetic AI piece on the newly released iSteady V3 has a locking mechanism. The M6 a lot of attractive features, but the expensive replacement cost for a part that is vulnerable, happens to be a deal breaker for me. Regretfully, I will be returning it.
if you're planning to vlog outdoors and you're not a thick-skinned person, don't bother buying this. ALL GIMBALS are in your face sort of thing, people will look at you carrying it. And this will make you even more conscious while talking. I've tried this 3 times, and settled for a pocket camera.
The action of capturing a "vlog" regardless of the camera, requires thick skin and confidence. Still feel a bit weird but I try not to take it too serious. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and what works for you!
Did insta360 ask you not to disclose you got this free? Did you pay for this on your own? The fact that insta360 themselves commented here shows not to trust your review. This is 99% identical to the flow. The upgrades you talk about are not upgrades except the 360 panning and right light. Even the flow could track in other camera apps too. Also there’s been magnetic mounts on Amazon since the original flow.
Nope. I have never been asked that. That’s the reason I still collaborate with Insta360. One-Tap pairing, DockKit and 360 panning are huge upgrades! Tracking Ring Light is useful when solo and Magnetic Phone mount is a delight when filming casual. Those sound like great upgrades to me! If a company is being talked about on a review they definitely have the right to comment and support the hard work I put in. Every business is aware of the vox populi. Yelp is predicated on that just to provide an example. I appreciate your time always but don’t agree with your “trust” comment.
As a solo creator, I enjoyed my old flow. It has been my buddy. But now that flow pro has a AI 360 tracking panning, OMG, a life changer (atleast for me). Can’t wait mine to arrive🥰
@@EMTFILMS I‘m most of the time a photographer - since 50 years. But the „new“ hybrid-cams made me interested in video too. For me it is difficult to get a stable shot. So I decided to bye me a gimbal. And the journey began. Sony A7III with 24mm GM + Crane M3 wasn’t easy to use and very heavy. iphone + DJI OM6 was much more easy, but I need the phone otherwise too and then I had two things in my hands and it was boring. Together the combo has a weight of about 570 grams and I have to use a selfie stick to film myself. With the Osmo Pocket is this all no problem. It is small, lightweight, has a 20mm lens and a very good footage quality!

Technically it snaps on the portrait position pointy part down. Then camera rolls to the left once in landscape.

Absolutely. I flip between them depending on the needs of the day. If ND/lenses are in order the the clamp is where it’s at. 🤘🏼

01:46 - just a pity these compact gimbals have such rubbish tilt range with the tilt motor being at the back and not on the side.
Definitely a downside for payload capacity but if looking to charge it opens up the port for that and or microphones. Thanks for sharing! 🤘🏼

Depends! 360 degree panning might be worth to some. Flow is still a fantastic gimbal regardless.
