Just seeing this Recipe by you encourage me to subscribe I used to buy your box cakes and those were the best box cakes I have ever eaten so thank you..
This isn't soo sweet, yea? I like to balance out the sweetness of the brownie with the salted caramel (baked into the brownie itself) 'Nother thing, is the chocolate chip and flour mix necessary? Or can i skip that part?
Midnight Countess I made these before, it’s not to sweet. You can always put a little caramel on one brownie to see if you like it or not. And DON’T skip the chocolate chips and flour part because it prevents the chocolate chips from sinking to the bottom of the brownie
@@adorablespice exactly what I would've said, and I'm a mechanical engineer 😊. To measure, use a plastic cup so it's transparent. Mark a line on the cup where the eggs hit and look at the cup eye level to determine approximately half that height. Then, mark another line.
Skip. Oversold and underdelivered, as is typical of Ms. Garten's work. Her stuff is always the "ultimate" or "the best" or "incredible," when it isn't. It's usually a standard recipe that's been around for years and years that she commandeers as her own. If you don't believe me, Google search her recipes and see what comes up. P.S. Big clue she looks to the past for recipes to commandeer: anyone who posts daiquiri. sangria, whiskey sour, and sidecar recipes on her website is living in Leave It to Beaver time. God knows what The Food Network sees in her. Safe unoriginality?
And you are actually here in this video just to tear her down?! Whether it’s an original of hers or not, I tried this recipe & it tastes absolutely delicious. Seems like you have plenty of time in the world to actually search & compare her recipes to thousands of recipes online. I’m pretty sure 90% of the viewers here are just after the brownies or any other specific food that she prepares. If you’re not her target audience, or her food doesn’t impress you, why bother being here? Regardless of whether it’s an original or the best (or not), many people love her food & what she serves is more of a comfort food, not something you would expect in a Michelin-starred restaurant.
Shes so lovely and humble her cooking baking is just so good
I recommend everyone try making these and her lemon bars (also on youtube). So delicious! Gotta love Ina!

We love a time saving queen.
Lazy cook
Fair, but caramel is easy enough to make from scratch
Made this for my boyfriend and I on our date and we loved it!!! Definite keeper!!
She didn’t make her OWN caramel 🧐🧐🧐
"Why bother?"
The boyfriend or the brownies?
sa
"...for my boyfriend and me."

This brownie recipe seems to be a take on the original Palmer's Hotel brownie. This looks good, too.

“Could make Carmel, but why bother?”
Well I can make box brownies, so why bother?
There's no real difference in taste and quality of the caramel, brownies on the other hand...
You can buy already made brownies, so why bother?
Good

Just Queenin make keto brownies lol
Just Queenin girl right!! And keto brownies aren’t nearly as good lol
This looks sooo damn good & delicious.. 😋 But I would sure gain 100 lbs with just one bar of this! Lol
Lol so the main ingredient in the title of the recipe is store bought?! 😂😂😂 what a chef
is it common to be putting more sugar than actual flour? and can i reduce the sugar or will it mess with the overall texture?
For brownies you need more sugar than flour otherwise you don't get that soft, gooey texture inside.
More flour = cakier texture
😋
🤤🤤🤤
I’d like to half this recipe but how do I split 3 eggs 🤪
Whisk three eggs together then half that mixture - use the leftovers for an omelette or scrambled eggs 😇

The fact that she didn't make the caramel herself bothered me.

coffee doesn't ruin the taste. it actually deepens the chocolate flavour
