You are correct, but for the amount time we use the van in the colder months it’s not economical for us. When we get a bigger van it’s definitely something we would go for.

We bought those silicone mitts from The Range. Also there they had plastic lids that fit over tin cans. Ideal for storing items still in the cans in the fridge like tomatoes and coconut milk. Get a diesel heater! For the winter and even cooler autumn and spring evenings and mornings. It turns your vehicle into a 6 month to a year round vehicle. Only £144 (though it cost £300 for my mechanic to fit it)

Helpful list. I would add for anyone in a very humid/rainy environment like our northwest coast of N.America that dish drainer from umbra (although a compact size) never dried out properly on a rainy camping trip. The option to that is the folding /flat drain rack by JosephJoseph. I end up using both when camping with others - and use the umbra without the pad underneath, outside.

Hello from Australia.. My favourite gadget in our campervan is my moka pot for brewing coffee. I won't leave home without it, even on day trips. I also have a couple of moka pots in the house. I won't touch instant coffee.

Awesome video, this is just what I was looking for! I am just finishing my campervan build and looking forward to getting going :) I'll be investing in some washing sheets, those are a fantastic idea. I still have yet to solve the problem of doing the washing on the go, portable washing machines seem a bit of a non starter. I have hand washed clothes for long periods of time before and you soon grow to hate it. So really keen to find a solution!
Thanks so much for watching! If you can solve the washing machine dilemma that would be amazing. We did see a very small campervan washing machine at the motorhome show but it was soo small it was pointless!

Nope, if it does we've noticed it, it packs away really nicely in it own carry bag, if you were worried about rattle you could wrap a tea towl around it before it goes in the carry bag. Hope that helps!

Hi, I watched your pre Spanish trip vlog and you were well impressed with an organiser that sits between your seat on the floor. Don't suppose you have a link for this do you. Thanks for another great vlog, Amazon are doing well out of me today.
@@OurVanLifeWithKids spot on, ordered that as well now thanks. Although we won't be travelling with small kids, both this and the rear seat tidy are a great idea for space saving and utility. Maybe one day I'll think of something equally useful for others............ well, there's always hope

Bought the fans, best bit of advice ever, these are so good
A diesel heater would trump anything you’ve mentioned today especially living and using in the Uk all through the year 👌🏽👌🏽

That’s just added a lot of bulk to your small living accommodation!! good sponsorship though
We’ve been tempted by the omnia oven, with having a small van.
Does it rattle while you drive?

If you feel you need that contraption you should rethink your life choices. 😂
