Hi love the video, the satnav I yse for the caravan is Sygic Truck and Caravan, I've used it in this country and France and it's never let me down. It gives you the ability to enter all your units info.
The headlamp is a must for sure. My personal must-have gadget for my van is my HomeFi hotspot. I work remotely, so I need reliable internet. It's been super useful. I live in the US and it works all over the country here. Thanks for the video, enjoyed it!
I think that umbrella on video while you were cooking must be considered one of your 'best buys'.👍 Hey, that aside, just doing a vlog of your experiences and recommendations must be applauded and deserves a sub and thumbs up!!
Only had a caravan for 2 1/2 months and changed to a new model (same size) but it took 2 trips to empty it 😱😱😱🤣 …. Watched your video, very informative - you now have 1 extra sub 👍
A great selection. Like the head light. We have a similar thing for walking our two.... yes to the fire extinguisher. A MUST HAVE. also the first aid box. We have one for the dogs too.....
Love the array of handy 'Must Haves' Good old Amazon. I think you need a new umbrella now too 🤣! Those bowls that fold down flat are marvelous space saver. So much available these days to make caravaning/camping easier - more comfortable and less stressful. Good Gadget Video. 👌🇳🇱🙋♀🥝
🤞🏼 you never need to use the fire extinguisher, but with powder you should give it a regular shake to make sure the contents haven’t settled while travelling
Hi Lang and Sara, Have probably watched 20 of these show and tell videos before and still watch new ones as I find them on TH-cam and every time I discover one or two things I haven't seen before so awesome. Thanks for sharing guys. A new subscriber.
Great video as usual, we use the TomTom sat nav, my husband is a HGV driver so uses this for work also It’s great as you can put the size of the outfit and it has nice clear instructions
Wow that’s a lot of gadgets, we do have a few of them at the caravan and some in the camper. You seem to be an Amazon junkie like me.great video and I think I need one of those fans 😊
Hi great video and some good ideas there. For satnav advice I use avtex tourer3 by garmin, great device that allows you to put your dimensions in and works well for me. I’ve also been looking at reversing cameras but can’t decide whether to buy one or which one, so for now I’m using GoPro. I stick a 3m pad on the roof of the van and attach the camera by reaching through the rear skylight also trailing a cable through to keep it charged. Hope this helps
We bought our teppanyaki grill (hot plate) form eBay for about £32, it’s brilliant, we cook most of our meals on it, does a great breakfast, saves on the gas, a 1800 watt will run off sites with 10amps EHU
Rex Sat Nav, we have been using for years the Avtex Tourer. It’s based on a Garmin. It’s not the cheapest, you can add all your dimensions, has full european coverage and has all the CMHC @ ACSI sites already installed. Loads of other features as well.
Took the van to two separate weigh bridges! We don’t keep much else in the van to be honest! Clothes, chairs, awning etc. all go in the car! How ever I doubt this will be the end of my collection! 🤣
Can't beat Amazon for gadgets, I knew this months videos would be dangerous for me as i love a gadget. I can't recommend our Aguri sat nav, not the cheapest out there but does the job pretty well.
Personally, I would go tom-tom for the satnav used one for years in the truck and it’s never let me down I don’t personally use one when towing a caravan so you would have to look at the difference models you could get for a caravan. I know my truck one does let me put in height weight and width also you can get lifetime traffic which can come in handy especially for road closures. Then it will send you down the correct road unlike Google Maps when there’s a road closure hello single track Road 😮 As for reversing camera I use the wife it’s cheaper 😂

As an advanced driving instructor my question to you is why do you want a reversing camera. Is it to see cars as you are driving I sort of get that but good mirrors and you both looking every bend will tell you or are you wanting this to reverse on a pitch in this case DON’T pull up just past your pitch and use your motor mover. Why am I telling you this because 51% of all insurance claims are people reversing there caravan. A camera will not show both sides of your caravan so accident still happen also if the passenger is directing you they must never stand behind or within 2 heights of the caravan wall it is amazing how may people get hurt doing this. Any doubt ask the next warden you see and get information from your caravan insurance. Remove 51% of all claims and it is so simple. Plus you pay a fortune for a motor mover so use it. How ever there are cameras that are wireless the biggest problem is mounting the camera which means holes in the caravan if you can reduce that problem all the better. I have caravanned for over 30 years back in the day when we pushed our caravans onto a pitch. The other advantage to motor over use is the grass and not damaging it plus your clutch on the car. Wishing you both well and many happy and safe towing years. James
Thank you very much for the advice! That is definitely useful info. I nearly always use the motor mover, unless I am on a pitch in a field with no trees etc. I guess the main reason for wanting one, is for pulling back into the slow lane of a motorway when overtaking lorries etc. I always leave way to much space just to be safe.
