Well if you can find them in 1" then the stock controls should work. But when I bought mine all I could find at the time was 7/8" so I had to get new grips, throttle housing, and reducers for the controls but you should be able to find 1". Thanks
@jcueva10 Sorry I did no Dyno on the bike. You should be able to contact DynoJet and tell them where you are located, what air filter your using, and what exhaust your gonna run and they should be able to tell you what jet kit you need.
This is an awesome bike! I'm building one almost the same right now. My question is the front 21" wheel!!! I can't seem to find anything that can help me add that. Do you have a step by step instruction on how to do this? oh and I am planning to purchase one of those LED piston license plate bracket also real soon!
I'm using this as inspiration :) Was about to give up on my Shadow, but now I'm adding some clip-ons and relocating the switches. Do you happen to recall what or where you got that illuminated switch?
dude thats sick !!!! where did you get that bad ass looking rear brake light ? and is it necessary to push the top triple tree down ? i was going to install my clip ons underneath the triple tree for a nice racer tuck down look, thanks !
Now, that's a bada** bike! But I don't like those "cafe racer" style handlebars. To each their own, I guess. I do, however, like the over-all theme of the bike especially the silver metal flake strips on black paint scheme. Just wished tht you had a little bit longer, rear fender. Also, I love tht rear "piston-style" brake light! What's the #84 about?
No problem, and im so sorry, i promise this is my last question ! lol Do the stock hand grips fit on the these clip ons ? Thank you so much for all the help and i will be ordering my power piston soon ! :-D
Hey man what kind of exhaust did you install on the bike. In looking for an exhaust for my 2000 vstar 650 bobber. Been lookin for a while but cant find a set that i just love the sound....what do you recommend?
Tail End Customs Dude, you gotta learn your biker lingo....84 does translate to H-D... And as nice as V-Stars are is ain´t no 84.. (-; -You have got a nice bike, though, and it´s probably a better ride than many 84´s !!
Morten Kristoffersen haha you're right. I wasn't even thinking about that when I did it. It was actually August 4th when my dear dog died. It just happen to also be the year the guy who bought the bike was born. So it worked out. I see what you meant now though. Lol. Oops. Thanks though
Tail End Customs Hehehe....I was actually only playing the Devils´ advocate.... You are perfectly alright having any number on your bike (be careful with 81, though... (-; ) As said, your bike IS cool as hell ! I love it !
Thanks glad you like it.
WOW you are so talented. Sweet bike! I wish I had HALF of the talent you do in customizing and building bikes the way you do
Thanks. I appreciate it.
Thank you
Thanks

Just put the switch where the bolt/riser would normally go. Was able to accomplish this because I used clip on handlebars. Thanks
nice build!!!
@jcueva10

@jcueva10
With the spiked air filter I used a Dyno Jet Stage Stage 3 kit
@jcueva10

Where can I get that same sized rear fender for my 2000 star?

No becuase the stock grips are 1" and these bars were 7/8"
