Well I think he did an amazing job personally.I`m not a big Queen fan,but when I heard him sing Its A Hard Life I was totally bowled over.....He`s an incredible singer and those who disagree must be tone deaf!!
I'm a huge fan of queen and never liked anyone who tried to replace Freddie, it's incredible because Tom is absolutely the ONLY ONE who can pull it off
He would have really regretted it if he hadn't taken the opportunity to get up on stage with Brian May and Roger Taylor. A big hand to Queen as well for giving Tom Chaplin the chance to fulfill a boyhood dream.
I'm a long-term fan of the Queen but have also really enjoyed Keane and must say Tom's voice is absolutely amazing, it suits Queen's songs so much better than sny other artists i have heard so far: Lambert, Jessie J. It made me listen to more songs of Keane just to enjoy his amazing tone.

@cutandpaste1 hahhaha I can't see from laughing. this guy has a girlfriend and he's got an amazing voice. if there's someone on earth who would be allowed to idolize freddie mercury it would be mr chaplin. his first 2 albums with keane were like the same and both good. their 3rd album was a bit worse and their EP night train almost sucks. and you don't have any rights to give an explanation about generalizing because you are saying this guy is a homosexual while that's complete bullshit.
