i was on the ice at the start of a bench clearing brawl and i picked a guy off the pile. boston area team vs ontario. 15 years old. i am 5'6 and the guy i picked was huge. he rag dolled me and left my forehead purple, kind of like this flyer, but it didn't hurt or swell up. no biggie -- had a great time, although i'd like to win the next one.
That. Was. Awesome. Easily the best heavyweight fight the NHL as seen in years and Rempe has half a foot on Deslauriers in size. We all already knew he was a household name among enforcers but Rempe is gonna join him VERY quickly with showings like this.
Within about ten days Rempe went at it with DesLauriers, Reaves and Olivier - three of the top tier enforcers in the NHL. This kid is _not afraid_ to throw down with the best of them.
This kid doesn't have the brains to know that the actual enforcers see him as a joke on skates. Nobody wants him on their ice and are willing to take their own penalties to protect their teammates.

Bettman and the owners don't have a fucking clue. This is the kind of hockey people want to see, not this pond hockey bullshit they've turned the game into over the course of the last 15 years in the NHL. This is the first real lifeblood, and piss 'n vinegar I've seen in a game in years.

YEAH!... And he was the A$$hole that picked the fight!... And he was also the A$$hole that got so sick of getting hit in his strawberry looking forehead that he had to stop the fight by risking Rempe's head being smacked against the ice and causing brain-damage.
i was on the ice at the start of a bench clearing brawl and i picked a guy off the pile. boston area team vs ontario. 15 years old. i am 5'6 and the guy i picked was huge. he rag dolled me and left my forehead purple, kind of like this flyer, but it didn't hurt or swell up. no biggie -- had a great time, although i'd like to win the next one.
That. Was. Awesome. Easily the best heavyweight fight the NHL as seen in years and Rempe has half a foot on Deslauriers in size. We all already knew he was a household name among enforcers but Rempe is gonna join him VERY quickly with showings like this.
More fans may return to watching the NHL if more fights like this were allowed to take place.
Within about ten days Rempe went at it with DesLauriers, Reaves and Olivier - three of the top tier enforcers in the NHL. This kid is _not afraid_ to throw down with the best of them.
This kid doesn't have the brains to know that the actual enforcers see him as a joke on skates. Nobody wants him on their ice and are willing to take their own penalties to protect their teammates.
There are plenty of people that would willingly get their ass beat for 15 minutes of fame. Rempe is the Jake Paul of the NHL.
