Hello! This tutorial is exactly what I was looking for. I’m hoping you can tell me or make a tutorial for making this layer concept in a shape such as a turtle or duck or even a block letter. Thank you

Thank you for the positive feedback. Are you wanting a single duck/turtle with the geometric layering inside the overall shape? If so, the same principles would be used however you'd likely then want to crop each layer to the shape of the chosen animal.

Hello, why Camvas say : this project cannot be downloaded. Some shapes extend beyond cutting area. . Please can you help me.??

This means that the box that surrounds the shape is over the edge of the cutting mat. Canvas won't let a design go off the edge as it would damage the machine and the mat. You need to select everything on the mat and see which design falls off the edge of the mat.

I am new to this and love the preciseness of this video. However, I came upstuck at the 1.40 mark. Nothing I do makes the donut shape. I have tried it on the pc app and the web app. On the web app I get the errs90 message and on the pc app, I lose the circle completely. Has the app changed since this video?

"ErrS90 - Failed to connect to the server." This sounds like there is a connectivity issue with the servers, rather than there being anything amiss in the instructions or operations.
Here is a link to a webpage from the official Brother support site to explain what that error code means and what you may be able to do to resolve the issue.
      support.brother.com/g/b/faqend.aspx?c=as_ot&lang=en&prod=hf_cm700eas&faqid=faqh00101500_000
If this error code continues I would recommend contacting the Brother Support team.

@@GentlemanCrafterUK I eventually managed to do it via the pc app but not the way you did it. With the web app, it still disappears when I press subtract button. The errs message came when I was trying something else - although I was still able to browse the internet, so my connection was fine. Thanks for looking though as its not listed in their PDF on error messages.

@@Kinrossboyd Glad that you succeeded. Please bear in mind that being connected to the internet and being connected to the server are two different things. For example, you could make the journey to the shop, but not be able to get in the door for some reason. The journey is the internet, the shop/door are the server. As some of the operations of the software require validation or operations from the server, a failure to connect would cause an issue regardless of whether you have an active connection to the internet.
