Love how a high profile married couple can disagree and stay civil.
I don't even think they disagree that much like title suggest. If you work with cancer patients closely you probably should. Problem was forcing it on healthy adults who aren't working closely with patients.
@@devaraj001 She works for our privatized healthcare industry which is owned by big pharma corporations. Win or lose, I've yet to meet a doctor who will publicly admit they didn't take the vaccine and I know 5 of them personally. Go on vacation with them, break bread with them. They cannot divulge their personal opinions. What she said doesn't make sense as the vaccine doesn't stop the spread of the virus as we were told. And trust me, id it did, it would be ALL over the news that it stopped the spread. That fact is simply buried under mountains of prop.

For someone who has not been trained in political speech techniques formally by the nature of their profession, Apoorva is extremely articulate and lightfooted around questions intended to procure concrete answers. Not only is she excellent during this interview and demonstrating the profoundness of her mind, but I cannot help but also notice that she is stunningly physically attractive. The total package!

She hit the nail on the head. The choice to take the vaccine is a very personal and individual decision. For our children it’s a decision to be made by their families. It’s a decision of weighing the risks versus the benefits. It’s different for everyone and everyone should be respected for their choice, and not push it on others.

How can a decision which potentially affects everyone you encounter be a "very personal and individual" one? Whether to get an abortion would be an excellent example of such a decision (and yet, ironically, I imagine you oppose a woman's right to choose). Whether to get a vaccine that protects OTHER people from YOUR germs is, by contrast, a decidedly POOR example of such.-

Vaccines are given to protect individuals but also to prevent community outbreaks. What we don't see and take for granted in the developed world is that many vaccines prevent illnesses that are much more difficult to deal with at a community level, and affect the individual for a lifetime (MMR for loss of hearing, liver, spleen damage). I think Vivek is a good debater and am greatly disappointed that he dropped out so soon, as if he was working for Trump, a crook who now faces not being elected.
Vivek's a lucky guy. She's beautiful. intelligent, supportive and has a great sense of humor .

Such an intelligent, dedicated and classy lady. Vivek isn't just blessed for his many positive traits he is deeply blessed by having this amazing woman walk by his side through life. Irregardless of whether or not he is or isn't elected as our next president and this lovely lady our first lady, I am inspired by their marriage and family. I wish them only the best throughout thier lives. May God bless them and keep them, may they continue to do good works for those around them who are lucky enough to cross paths with them. These are good people doing good works and should be set as an example of how to live life.

She absolutely helped her husbands case in this interview. She should be doing more of this for him, if she can. Charismatic, intelligent and well spoken. If Vivek can slow it down a bit, he will win a lot more people. South Indians speak their native languages very very fast. I believe Vivek’s fast speaking style has a lot of to do with being raised in a household where both parents are native Tamil speakers. 😊
Is it of that much importance to mention that he is a tamil speaker? You could have done away with just saying he needs to slow down. Rest of it is unnecessary and irrelevant.

That's an interesting observation. I'm a Tamil myself but grew up speaking English at home. I did notice my Tamil speaking friends at school spoke noticeably faster.
It depends on the prevalence and usage of English as a medium of instruction in a particular Indian state. Among Southern states, Tamils are the only ones who stuck to two language policy (Tamil and English) with a deep sense of cultural pride in their mother tongue Tamil due to its classical status, their legacy and conquests of Southeast Asia, no foreign incursions, unbroken lineage, corpus of literature over millennia. So, they are naturally good in Tamil and English. Unlike say, Telugu or other south indian language speakers who have a colonized history over millennia and easily influenced by outside forces to adopt other languages, traditions etc. Above all, in this case, it has nothing to do with a language or how it is spoken. It has more to do with a particular person's energy, conviction, clarity of thought, assertiveness and leadership traits. He is an Alpha male and a natural born leader. His wife is a timid, natural born follower like the vast majority of people in Northern India who were colonized and brutalized over millennia by foreign invaders. She has to balance everything in her life and hence the measured responses.

I love it. These are real answers and not optimised precooked answers to present a narrative. This is what you want of your politicians and not the puppets that are in Washington D.C. currently.

@@kraugaming7557 Perhaps you should listen to her response more carefully. At no point did she say her "young and healthy" husband should take the vaccine. She didn't actually answer what decision she personally would make now. She said "I'm an airways surgeon. At that time, I think, I did what I had to do." She also emphasized it was an autonomous decision for the individual to make, based upon her, as a surgeon, informing the patient of known pros and cons, and that every situation was different. She did not endorse everyone taking the vaccine. In effect, she is stating that it is Vivek's autonomous decision to make. This, of course, is contrary to the mandate for federal employees, federal contractors, and military personnel to take the vaccine.

Movies like Casino and Scarface showed me how, we can interpret a man's values and principles based on who he chooses as his life partner. And Vivek, clearly chose well. The same can be said of Apoorva as well. This is a rare occurrence, especially in this generation. And to replicate this, we need both of them to lead Americans from the front.

It is understandable that as a healthcare worker, your responsibilities will look different from non-healthcare workers. Things will be mandatory for you that should be optional for everyone else due to your line of work. Dr. Ramaswamy explains this beautifully.
