America is in trouble and we need competent people in many places. Trump was way too naive in 2016. He didn't understand that he was at war with the establishment, both the Democrats and the RINO's. Despite the huge number of attacks on him, he was able to deliver a good economy and made some wins.
He has vowed, this time, to attack the deep state, the bureaucracy. Democrats have good reason to fear him. His motto in business was "don't get mad, get even". We need this kind of grit.
I don't want to take anything away from Vivek. He is smart, energetic, competent and a good communicator. Vivek is young and could use some seasoning. He needs a place where he can fight the good fight and be successful.
The Republican Party leadership is a mess. The RINO's are in charge and they are not helping MAGA candidates win. One suggestion which makes sense is that Vivek would be a great RNC Chairman. Someone needs to clean the Augean stables; the RINO's need to go. But, that would only happen if Trump wins.

Running for the highest office in the land, is the same mistake that Trump made. If Trump had been elected to a lower office than President, he would have known that the establishment would be ruthless. He would have found competent supporters and fired more of the deep state operatives who sabotaged him at every step.

Left-leaning, married, relatively successful 39 year old independent millenial checking in. I didnt vote in 2016. I was disgusted that my candidates were Hillary and Trump. I also went through a lot of challenging personal stuff and health problems so voting wasnt the most important thing at the time.
2020 I very reluctantly voted for Biden...figuring he was ever so slightly less worse than Trump, and truly fearing what kind of damage Trump would do with a second term on the world stage, really put off with his fake election claims, his handling of Jan 6th, etc.
Goodness you guys...between 2020 and now so much within me has shifted in unexpected ways. I am on fire for Vivek. I hope he is President. If he ends up being Trumps running mate? Gets my vote for what little its worth. The way the democratic party has devolved and the way it tries to wield power and authority, at least Vivek can keep Trump in line legally and articulate and defend his policies in an intelligent, affable, direct, and assertive way.
