I remember seeing this poster advertising the movie at the theatre in my hometown when the movie was close to its release date. I think it is a very unique poster for a spider-man movie, seeing the character as Peter Parker sticking to a wall and not wearing his suit makes us connect more with the character. Also the dark tone of this poster gives a mysterious atmosphere making us wonder why Peter is hiding in the shadows. It intrigues us to get to know more about this version of the Spider-Man! Also, the music slowly reveals itself at the beginning, which in this case, matches with the character revealing himself and discovering his past.

I can't believe I haven't made a comment of a similar caliber to this one yet. I've been listening to this mix on repeat for a couple weeks now, in the background whilst I do schoolwork. It's something that's more ambient in some places, which is great, emotional in some, which is also kinda great. The Elfman theme's in there for like 4 seconds, which I love. And then comes that chorus about halfway in, and the break where in my head I can literally hear him gasping for air as he misjudges his jump and falls. Then, I can see him rising up on the crane, and swinging off in the distance, from crane to crane. It's like a callback to the first Raimi film, where the guy on the bridge starts throwing stuff at Goblin, and says "You mess with one of us, you mess with all of us!". It's that same mentality here, that unity of New York in an effort to help Spider-Man help everyone else. But I digress, in a way. I know that this is technically just from the soundtrack, and you didn't specifically make this, but you put everything together in such a way where there are no transitions, this sounds like it could just be one title from the movie. And I love it. I love it so much. Thank you. Even though no one likes TASM 2 anymore, and for good reason, this movie and its soundtrack still stand tall in my heart. I remember such hype for this movie. I remember actually watching it in the theater for the first time. Sure, it was another origin story, one that we've pretty much seen already, but it was another Spidey movie, and I was left with a whole in my heart after seeing Spider-Man 3. I was ready for a reboot. This movie had such great actors, and such great scenes. Sure, it has plotflaws, a lot of them, but hell, I'll embrace those. Sure, it showed basically all of the scenes of Peter's parents in the trailers, and didn't really give us the whole "kid's trying to find his parents" we were all looking for, but in a way it did. The scene where he saves Jack? Yeah, that's a metaphor. For Peter's own life. I'll come back to that in just a second, but need to give some kind of backstory to this. Before he was bit by the spider, he was bullied relentlessly by Flash, talked down to by most teachers, and had pretty much any self confidence stripped from him. He gets these powers. Fails to stop a criminal, Uncle Ben dies (we all knew this was coming, but it could have been so much better. Also, I mean just say the words "with great power comes great responsibility", don't beat around the bush with it), and he goes out for vengeance, trying to find the killer. He finds the car thief, and guess what? He *bullies* him. He victimizes him. He finds out the car thief doesn't have his milk money, and he says "This could have got a lot worse." The first time he feels any real power he does to others what he has suffered for so long. And you know what? That didn't bring his parents back. It didn't bring Uncle Ben back. So we hop back forward to the Bridge scene. The Lizard goes berserk. Throws cars off of the bridge. Spidey catches them, and goes off to fight The Lizard. He's about to chase him, but some rando guy says his kid is trapped. He lets The Lizard get away. He goes to the car. He saves the kid. He brings him back to his father. Let me say this again. *Peter brings this kid, who was helpless and afraid without his father, back to him.* Peter realizes that he may not be able to have his own parents brought back to him, but if he can do the same for someone else, with his _great powers, then it's his great responsibility_ to do so. Jack's father asks who he is, and for the first time, Peter's able to say that he's *_Spider-Man._* From here, he truly dons the idea that his uncle was trying to get across to him, that he was meant for something greater than just being a bully when he got the chance. He stops going after Uncle Ben's killer. He never actually finds him. But he finds _himself._ Oh jeez, I wrote like a whole essay. You get my point here, hopefully. I really do love this movie, and mixes like these help me feel this nostalgia again. This willingness to go into the comments and write a really long 12 paragraph essay on how this movie/soundtrack/mix really affected me. What I'm trying to say is _thank you._ Seriously, thank you. I know it's just a mix of the music, but thank you. Thank you for making me feel this love again. Thank you for letting me pour my heart out into the movie. I don't even know if you'll see this, but if not, maybe someone else will, and they'll be able to think back on this, and hopefully it'll shed some light on something they didn't think about before. I'd like to put some corny line here, some "my gift, my curse", or "who am I?" or something like that, but I can't be that gal. I'm just someone who really loves this movie and its soundtrack, along with a few deeper meanings, and wanted to put that out there.

The reason why the original trilogy and TASM1 were memorable, was because of the producer LAURA ZISKIN It was because of her and her husband (the screenwriter Alvin Sargent) that the movies had depth She was the only one capable to tell AVI ARAD when to back off Unfortunately, she died in 2011, during the production of TASM1 Without her, there was no one to stop Arad from destroying the franchise Spiderman was nothing without her

The difference between this and Superman's classic theme is that while the sky is Superman's bitch, Spidey still has to work for every inch of height. His world isn't always his friend, but he loves it just the same.
Honestly the way Spider-Man swings through the city and does a lot of acrobatic moves is a lot more exciting and enjoyable to watch than watching Superman just fly through space and do nothing. It's just too dry.
