I LOVE black mini Schnauzers!! My parents had three and we had 2 we lost our sweet Emmy from cancer in March!! My heart is broken and I think of her everyday!!! She was only 4 and a half. I have two rescues now that I love. I eventually will get another schnauzer !! They are such a wonderful breed!!!
i have a schnauzer myself.. she behaves like stella.. they are obedient and intelligent.. they can be really funny.. never boring dog... and sensitive to owners emotions.. when i feel worried, sad or terrified she comes to me and hug..awww
We had a black schnauzer, which we just lost a few weeks ago to cancer (she was almost 15). She loved training too. Of course we are looking into getting a new schnauzer puppy. I can't wait to do training again (except the house training). It didn't take us long to train Jackie though; she learned very quickly. The biggest problem with training Schnauzers is that they are so smart that they get bored with repetitive training and around 2 they start thinking, "I know what you want me to do, but I don't feel like doing that now (especially with stay or come).
I miss my Roscoe had him 12 yrs and he passed away of cancer 4 yrs ago don't think I got over him I want another Black schnauzer they are very expensive now and I don't see many Black one 's anymore in my area or in my part of Texas will get another baby one day best breed ever!
Hope it’s going well! If I get a black dog in the future I really want to name it Onyx, because it is such a perfect name, but my friends cat is named Onyx. Maybe I can just do Nyx or something idk
Stella looks a lot like our baby Lucky when he was little.... we had him for 17 years before he crossed the rainbow bridge. Stella has warmed by heart with great memories
She’s adorable! I always thought my Liam believed he was walking the children when they held his leash. He always adjusted to the child’s speed and in tug, to the child’s strength.
Stella is a beautiful little girl. I can tell she is going to be a real treasure. She reminds me so much of my black mini schnauzer Kitty. Kitty loved and excelled in agility and she was smart, obedient and everyone's favorite dog at my condo complex. It's been 9 years since she has passed and I still miss her terribly every day. If I could I would love to have a little girl like Stella. But sadly it's not possible.

The bigger if the two is still all black like Stella, and his brother has gone from all black to pewter gray. There is no one so eager to learn like a Schnauzer!!! Beautiful! I have a 12 year old salt and pepper mini who unfortunately was just diagnosed with lymphoma and cancer in her stomach. We are so saddened but watching this just brings back so many great memories of our little Lola when she was a puppy to. We love her so much and the mini schnauzer breed. We are going to miss her so much. Our best to you and your family and pup from Northern MN.

Snake River Canine Oh yeah! I've never seen anything like it. If you think of the cutest puppy you've ever seen and then multiply it to infinity that's the level she's at. I bet she would be a great therapy dog. My plate is full right now. I have just adopted a 2 year old rescue Rottie Lab mix female who is finishing treatment for active heart worms. She is doing well but is a lot of work. Keep up the great work!

I don’t think I could ever love another breed like I do the Schnauzer. We lost our Chloe in July, 2019 and miss her every day. She was our life, pride and joy and we were so fortunate to have her for 15 great years. I would love to have another one but we are both 72 and think it may just be be too late in life for us to start over with a new little puppy.🥰 You guys do a tremendous joy training these little guys. I love watching your video’s.
When I adopted my mini from a rescue 12 years ago they had a few really great older minis. One was a 9 year old black mini named Chewier. Short for Chewbacca. Go rescue dogs.
If you have a kid, grandchild, niece, nephew, etc. who wants to be involved with the dog, who could be the dog's "godparent", you could always do that :) I dogsit for an elderly couple, and I've agreed to adopt their dog if/when they can't take care of her anymore. Or as someone else mentioned adopting an older dog is a great idea. The vet bills tend to be higher but they're much easier to take care of than a puppy (especially mini schnauzers who seem to get into everything!)
i started training dogs when i was 15....i was the aggression guy and i loved getting bit....after getting bit where i wasnt suppose to be bitten once or twice, i got the hang of it and i enjoyed that way more. the very first dog i did obedience on was a mini schnauzer....23 years later, my first pet as an adult was.....you guessed it a mini schnauzer...that i told my gf at the time NOT TO GET....she got BRAXTON anyway....and as i thought, I WAS THE ONE WHO NOT ONLY TRAINED HIM....BUT SPENT THE TIME WITH HIM....THIS IS HER DOG AND HE PAYS HER NO ATTENTION UNLESS HE WANTS SOMETHING FROM HER....it later turned out that he didnt like her to be truthfully honest and that was her fault....and after we broke up she yelled out AND TAKE HIM WITH YOU.....ill never forget how he was looking as he saw me packing up my stuff....but whne he realized he was goin with me, the look changed.....BRAXTON WAS THE DEFINITION OF LOYALTY.....BRAXTON, fell 29 days short of turning 10 and 60 days short of us being together for a complete decade......i am 47 years and everyone has a day theyll never forget....on 12feb18 i found out he had cancer and on 5mar18, A DAY THATLL LIVE IN INFAMY with me......i put him down.....there was no way i was goin to let it run its course.....here we are 5 months later and im still crying behind losing him.....i actually watched the video jus so that i could cry....and if anyone knows anything about the BLUES AND BLUES ROCK....JONNY LANG AND SRV GOT ME THRU IT...ATLEAST WHILE I WAS IN PETSMART. I JUS LOST IT IN THE PARKING LOT.....IT TOOK ME OVER HALF AN HOUR TO GET IN MY CAR BECAUSE I KNOEW I LEFT OUT WITH JUST HIS LEASH. I LIVE AROUND THE CORNER FROM PETSMART AND WHEN I WENT IN THE BACK DOOR, I OPENED THE DOOR LOOKN OWN LIKE I ALWAYS DO GOIN IN BECASUE HES RIGHT THERE....i watched this video to remind me of him and all the great times we spent together and yes, TO CRY.....i swear i didnt cry this long when my grandma, mother, fater or grand father died....i cant wait until i get another schnauzer....im goin standard next time and im getting another male and im naming him, yep, BRAXTON...

When my terminally ill mother wanted me to find her a dog, I found a 9 week old black Mini Schnauzer puppy for her. We named him Curly because of his curly black locks. Both of my parents have since passed. My Mom was sick for many years. My Daddy was diagnosed just 2 years later with stage 4 cancer and passed away within 2 1/2 months. I ended up becoming Curly's Momma. Just 6 days ago I had to have Curly put down after his seizures finally got the best of him. Stella makes me think about him. They could pass as twins. They are an awesome breed I would own again in a heartbeat. Just be aware of the possibility of a Mini Schnauzer developing seizures at a couple years of age. From what I understand they are known for possible seizures. Didn't know that before I got him for my Mom. It is heartbreaking to watch them having a seizure and even harder to have them put down when they get to be too many to manage and the quality of the dog's life is affected.

It’s legal and common place in the US to dock tails. We’ve had some where clients have requested non docked tails from the breeders. I like the long tails too 😄.
She looks like my pepperrrr when my step mom divorced my dad never got to see her again she was like my best friend and I cry missing her feels bad 15 still missing a dog also miss our corgi mix they always made me happy helped my depression and anxiety more than any anti-depressant could ever. Yes schnauzers are so patient parent got married in 2010? Was 7 until the 18th of August I used to annoy her so bad but she'd be patient and cuddle me Took care of her like she was my kid she pooped alot I mean she was trained but parents got home late and my step sister was in hs and lazy so I'd come home clean her crate or in front of the back door if Maddie let her out the crate and forgot about her gave her bath in my tub used to feed her sometimes give her some treats take them outside miss Bradley and pepper so much...

I'd get another but I'm probably heading to an apartment cuz I cant take care of my house any more. No better breed in my opinion ! I loved my Mac and he loved me! My husband got him when he was a puppy but Mac decided I was his person. Ya just can't help who they pick!

What is the purpose behind the "bed"?
The training bed allows us to properly introduce a “stay” at a very young age and to build on that, teach the dog an extended stay as they get older.

It gives specific boundaries and helps make the concept of “stay” very clear for young (and old) dogs.
