Those two hole you mentioned that seemed like an after thought are actually for mounting the battery box in front if you want. The battery box can be removed and reveal a plate underneath for mounting a larger battery. If you watch Element's video it shows the removal of the box for a larger battery.
Ive been wanting to get something for my 7yr old daughter to come out and crawl with me, would this be a good choice? Also would my stock pinseeker wheels off my sendero se fit on the enduro12?
@@masonwiggins9658 I ordered 12mm thick hexes that are sold with hex extenders. The hexes on these trucks are pretty wide and this should keep it the stock width. I may need to shave them down a little though. They are still in the mail.

Yeah, the servo died, so I am going to to retrofit a full-size servo. Also ordered brass hexes, and will definitely do wheels/tires at some point

Yes 12mm hex, same as 10 scale. They are big hexes though, about 12mm thick!
