At times when food is unappealing, I switch to grazing. Keep healthy snacks on hand: pumpkin seeds, fruit, whole grain crackers. When it's due to super hot weather, I'll puree a watermelon and freeze in ice cube trays. I fill a glass with the cubes and eat them like mini popsicles 😊

I am all about cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, and kefir. I also keep frozen blueberries, lemon juice, and lime juice handy. Put a splash of either juice into a cup of plain Greek yogurt then stir in 4 to 6 Oz. Frezen blueberries into it and leave it in the fridge for a few minutes. It sets up like a concrete.
Love this m, occasionally stress or recently. The heat has definitely dropped my appetite. I have to say fresh fruit and cheese are probably my two go to. ❤

I lost my appetite 6years since my sister died...I am still battling with it at times... It's not serious as I manage it thru fasting two days with two days either side of having light meals mostly salads...Have managed to control my weight. Loss of some or something can be of shock in ones life, which affects one's stress organs i.e. liver, gallbladder and stomach. As there are further ramifications like ineffective thyroid gland which plays big part also with constipation and sleep. etc... These fasts have improved my eye sight and self image of ones self, I can now damn well fit into my clothes instead of having to buy different sizes every odd months...😊😅😂
I think a lack of appetite shows that your body wants to fast. I believe we should listen to our bodies. It happens to me usually before my menstruation period. If we eat food when not feeling like, we will not be able to digest that food properly. 😊

Hey Lucie, great video, really helpful, I’m currently trying to recover from covid and my appetites non existent. In these cases or if your just simply sick, should we try to focus on balanced small meals too or just any higher density foods to make sure we’re eating enough? Also what are your thoughts on each meal needing to contain a protein carb and fat? And that each meal needs to have 20-30g protein to be sufficient to maintain a balanced day/ blood sugars, hormones, etc? X
Tune in to your body about nutrients and timing. I tend to want carbs at lunch, then proteins at dinner; because they take longer to digest, protein keeps me satisfied for sound sleep. 😊
Sorry you went through that, I would try a mix of both- small meals with high nutrient foods! Also I woudn't obsess over the balance- just eating is the priority for now!

I found drinking a smoothie or similar to help. It doesn't have to be fancy.
