- After three years of being "online friends," I flew to Canada to visit @emmiereads It was one of the best weeks ever, and I'm so glad I get to share it with you! :)

I hope you're all doing very well!
This may be my favorite vlog I've ever put together, because it feels less like a vlog and more like a diary entry (or a time capsule for the future)!

Early twenties are such a good time. When joy bubbles around, it is a blessing, yet natural. I had a dream of a woman, and her head hollow like a little clean attic or a cupboard, and there was a book in it. Then I watched your videos meeting each other - fun. Thankyou.
This convergence was destined to be wonderful. Laughter and tears. An emotional high, and shared with us as a gift. May this become a regular event, at least yearly.

These past few years have been a pleasure getting to know you two. This way seems so much better than it was when I was in my 20s. Then there were so many other things going on whenever I met young women it was impossible to see them for who they are [were].
I hope there will be more Carolyn and Emma video’s in the future because you two are my favorite book tubers! what a gift to see you two in one screen. I really enjoyd all of your videos together ❤ much love! ✨

omg one time on a random girl's hair styling video I commented how it looks like she has a natural wave/curl pattern with the way her hair looked. And I said something about how the pattern looked disrupted and became frizzy as if she "brushed her hair when it was dry or when it was wet." And people were like _ummm, when is she supposed to brush it?_ So I had to clarify that I only brush my hair in the shower because otherwise it gets poofy. But I didn't realize how odd that sounded until people replied confused.
I would love to have a friendship like yours.

Last time I saw my friends that I met through the internet (which was in 2019 cause then the pandemic happened) I cried as I was hugging them goodbye when they dropped me off at the airport and then when I was by myself at the airport I cried a lot as well. By myself lol 😩
