I used to paint like this some years back but just threw them away after holding on to them for some time as I thought people were not ready for this type of art. How wrong was I!! Good on you for showing this to us.

It is beautiful, Gerda! Reminds me of some parts of Arizona (a southwestern state in the US). I used to live there, and many times parts of the desert would turn those colors at dusk. Your painting even shows the "tops of flat rocks" in the background. :)

Such great texture,,, even your 'mistakes' turn out wonderful. The light gray/blue glaze over the orange gives a cool, hazy atmospheric effect. :)
