I've wanted something like this for a very long time. When you do a search for TH-cam videos on line weight you get almost nothing and only a few of what you do get are very good.

The reason I specifically asked Demon Slayer and not an 80s or 90s anime is because its art style has a particular emphasis on line weight AND it happens to have popularity and relevance right now. If you don't care for that, good for you. I'm not pandering to snobs.

I love line work, as I'm most familiar with it in making art. But when I draw digitally, I always feel like my lines are way too thick all over, despite me shrinking the pen size so much! I am now having to shrink down to a value less than 1 on a pretty big canvas and that just seems ridiculous to me 😅

    • @pinkajou656

@@pinkajou656 I tend to dislike any sort of texture in my brush I use, but I can certainly try. I use Clip Studio Paint and my linework is always on a vector layer, just because I'm trying to make a webcomic where I draw the pages in print format first, then go back and resize/rearrange panels into a scrolling format.
Literally have been working on it for a year now and have hardly anything to show for it, but I'm not the most disciplined at working every day, as I also stream three times a week and work full time 😅
