What size shims do u use I just had to buy my son another 150 because are garage go broken into so we r building one but I don’t know what size shims go in the intake and exhaust I know the exhaust is 2.05 but I don’t kno the intake size
The size of shims depends, you need to measure at TDC with feeler gauges to see if they are in spec, record measurements for each. If they are not within spec then you need to take the difference from measurement to Spec. Make note of what size shim was in each valve, you will need to find the correct difference +\- from the shim that was previously installed to determine the replacement shim size that would get you closest to Spec. If a valve is too tight, you need a smaller size shim to get down to spec. If the gap is too loose then you need a bigger size shim to bring it within spec.
What are the exact name of the 12 mm nuts and washer on the top of the head for the studs I need new ones previous owners lost them and I can’t find them anywhere online
