I recommend you take it slow. My wife started with her piercings about 15 years ago. She stretched to about 12mm years ago and wears thick, heavy rings in both ears, which are a turnoff for some men, but I find her many piercings very sexy. As she got older she removed some of her facial piercings but not the ear piercings; she still wears a large septum ring which is her “trademark” and she removes that rarely and only for cleaning. She is Nigerian and the piercings make her look very “tribal” or ethnic. If you’re into body modification, piercings are the way to go since most are removable unlike tattoos.
Well, you've convinced me to take it slowly on my ears. After having just a normal piercing for 40 years, they are a bit stretched out already and had bought some hangers that are probably around 2mm, and they went right in my ears, no pain or anything. One even fell out at one point. Got another pair of hangers that were a bit bigger and realized they aren't going to just "fit". Got myself some tapers and tunnels, I will be following your example 💜💜🐿️
Thank you for this video. I am currently on 2mm and my goal is 8mm. I wanted to make it faster as well but seeing your video, I decided to take it slowly. Thanks again! ❤

Apparently it’s not supposed to hurt but be slow and gradual. No one told me that when I first gauged then in high school lol! But this is my second go around as an adult and I’m glad to know that it doesn’t have to hurt.
I got these a while back. If you have thick lobes this specific kit is not for you. The edges where they taper off aren’t sanded or curved so they pinch your ears at bigger sizes and they’ve gone as far as to scrape in my skin on days where i was actively moving around meaning i had to pause the stretching to give the cuts a chance to heal. The tapers provided were also quite a bit bigger than the plugs provided so upsizing can be painful. Also would stay away if you’re not careful or have an active lifestyle as the rubber bands get lost easily.
If the tunnels are too narrow for you lobes, I recommend using the clear glass plugs with a rounded back. They're extra long and perfect for stretching.
Just started my stretching journey i was told people shouldn't use tape on a 1.6mm but I though wouldn't that be the easiest way to stretch instead of shoving a tapper in your ear?? Seeing you using tape gave me alittle more confidence on using it 😁😁

I‘m using dead stretching plugs, but the sizes are so short rn and my ears don‘t easily stretch, that nothing happens. Been stretching for 13+ years. It took me alooot of patients but worth it in the end. I have 3 sets on each ear now and only have 2 more sizes to go on my 1st holes until I'm completely finished with my journey
Ive been avoiding my first stretch to a 14g jsjs I get half way and stop because it starts hurting a bit and I heard its only supposed to feel like a little pinch. Are there any ways to build up to the 14g? Or should I just go for it...
I think a taper is the only choice for that size. Just take some extra time and go really slow with breaks between the steps where it stops. So slide it in to where it's slightly painful, leave it for 5-10 minutes (30 even, if you have to), then try to go further, and repeat. Remember lubrication!
I just started stretching my ears and tbh 14g was nothing so I skipped right to 12, I didn’t bother trying 10 but I’ve only had my ears pierced for like 4 months but tapers definitely do help, if anything there are 16g tapers and stuff you can find online
I usually waited 4 or 5 days between putting tape on. I'd add only one or two layers at a time. When I reached a new size I let my ear rest for about a week before I put new tape on. This is not something exact to go by, as everyone is different, and what might work for me may not work for you, just keep that in mind.

So the plugs I'm using to stretch have rubbers to hold them in place and tha way I decide to go to the next size is wait til the rubbers start slipping through the wholes and then check the next size. Although I only switched sizes once so far. I'm roughly 3 weeks in and switched from 1.4 mm to 2 because the plug kept slipping through and when I tried the 2mm plug I barely even felt it was there. I'm guessing I will take even longer to get to 8mm than you did but the slow stretching leads to prettier results
I had my ears stretched when I was 18 to a 0. I had to take them out a couple years later for something. I'm thinking about stretching again. Mine returned to normal when I took them out.
Nice, wish i could do it quick. I have regular earring right now. Right ear gives a lot of problems...have to take super good care and use saline solution a lot...plan on only stretching to a 10g
Nice, I just started, I'm old so I'm going to go slower. Looks good, wondering about your second lobe does it bug the stretched part or is it out of the way enough.
@@Tronderose You're welcome! By the way: question...can you do salt water soaks while using the taping method? I'm new to earlobe stretching (at a 4 gauge now) and want to try taping like you did.
I had my ears pierced as a kid but it wasn't a good experience and they closed up. If I was to get my ears re-pierced, how long should I wait before stretching? :)
I stretched really fast in the past with tapers. From 16g - 00 In a few months. Every stretch hurt bad. This time I’m going to go slow and use the PTFE tape. I tapered to start off since the plugs are so small. The 14g went right through without really even touching my ears. So I went right to a 12g I think my ears never fully closed fully down to a 16g
I just started my journey today and like you I have to be very patient. I’ve had my ears pierced since birth. Not sure what I want my goal to be yet but my question is, how often to do you wait until you go the bigger size? Thank you in advance!

Where and which products/kits did u buy? Im so Sorry I'm so serious about this and I want exactly your results/size! ! ❤🎉❤🎉❤
Where can I find those types of gauges? I have the really long ones and they bump into my second piercings. ☹️ and I want to stretch mine to at least a 6g (4mm) I'm only at a 12g (2mm) right at the moment.
They're linked in the description. These are also fairly long, but you could try screwback-tunnels instead, they're usually shorter than the single flares!
So are you slowly wrapping the plug with med tape to make it bigger I'm just starting and haven't fully started just got my kit and oil but been watching videos to figure out the best way I love this one
Same here.. decide if you wanna keep it- I’m at 10MM and my 2nd hole went up to 5g but now I’m at 8g cuz not gonna keep but want it looking pretty till it gets swallowed up lol
I am thinking of having my helix pierced with 14 gauge (1,6mm) to have a tunnel inside with a good quality material to put any jewellery in without risking an allergic reaction. So my question: does 1,2 mm jewelry fit in the tunnel?
No, most jewelry will be too short to fit through a steel tunnel like these. Your best bet is to go to the Dr's and find out exactly what you're allergic to, so you can avoid that type of jewelry.
I just started my journey on this is was really nervous till I got them then when I got the first ones in I thought it was hurt bad no it was just sore but went away after a day or 2 thank you for your tips helped me to gauge my ear right
How do you do it I want to get gauges again since I lost my and had to close them up I wore the glass plugs when I First got them but the o ring kept falling out
I think somewhere between 4-6mm long. I recommend labret bars (flat backs) or a straight barbell with ball ends, they tend to catch less if you have long hair
I just stretched mine from 18g(1mm) to 4g(5mm) in two weeks, not sure if its okay or not, but one of my friends did tell me that I better be patient cuz I went too fast, but my hole looks fine , no blowout at all.
Good thing you used the 1g.. When i first started ear stretching, my goal was 2g. I stretched to that in 5 months... So i was 2g for 3 months and realized i wanted to go to 00g instead. I didn't know about the 1 g and went straight to 0g.. I blew my ears out and had to down size... tried 0g month later and succeeded. Then went to 00g a week later and been here for 4 years.
Broski they look sore tho, make sure to moisturise them daily and fully clean them once a week, I can remember when mine were at an 8mm and now they’re a 20!!!
Nothing to stop it from sliding out? I want to stretch my abit as my hole close too easily so I want it to be slight bigger than regular to prevent that from happening
How long did you have the 1,6 mm in the beginning before changing? I have that size atm and had them for around 2 weeks now and would just like to know for reference
I think it would be fine, unless you go really big. Even then, I think it stretches more at the bottom than the top 🤔 You'll be able to spot if the skin between them starts to thin out, then you can stop stretching further or size back down.
I'm at 1 7/8s..... one size under 2 inches im stopping here 2 inches is just beyond me .. 0 Guage I was at 11 years ago. That is SUPER DUPER TINYYYY. But no disrespect here. I just went from a 16g to an 8g accidentally in 3 days lol my girlfriend thought she gave me a 10g from her collection and it was actually an 8 and I only had slight stinging lol
Safe, healthy and happiness is a key to Beauty take it slow and do it good and it will look very good and cool. Everyone should take care of themselves and try to be happy 😊 ❤⭐️
looks amazing 😍
Great video well done! Very wise to use 1/2 sizes.. while I did do the same I had a few minor issues too. Def go slow you’ll know when it’s time to size up. 👌👍
MAY I PLEASE ASK YOUR ROUTINE WHEN YOU BEGAN???
did you wait 1 month after 1 stretch !??? Did you wash and salve your ear everyday while it healed? What did you use to clean ear and gauge?
Yes, but it's PTFE tape (plumbing tape). I did approximately 2 rounds of tape every 5 days or so, you'll figure out what works for you!
Im doin the same thing i wanna strech properly just got my ears done 2 weeks ago and i wanna know when i can start stretching
Well done!
what if you stretch all the way to your second lobe that's really close?
Same here.. decide if you wanna keep it- I’m at 10MM and my 2nd hole went up to 5g but now I’m at 8g cuz not gonna keep but want it looking pretty till it gets swallowed up lol
Im on the prosses of stretching. What kind of tape did you used? Coz i dont have 7mm and 9mm. after 6mm it jumps at 8mm. Thanks for the response ✌️
PTFE tape
Great video 👍 where did you get your stretchers from .……? 😊
They're linked in the description
I just started my journey on this is was really nervous till I got them then when I got the first ones in I thought it was hurt bad no it was just sore but went away after a day or 2 thank you for your tips helped me to gauge my ear right
Hey girlie, what kit did you use? Where did you get it from? Would love the link please 🙏🏻 xx
I bought the tunnels separately from Crazy-Factory! Hope that helps
How do you do it I want to get gauges again since I lost my and had to close them up I wore the glass plugs when I First got them but the o ring kept falling out
I love this video. I want to stretch so I’m doing all the research I can ❤
what is the standerd piercing size when you first get your ears pierced?
What's the length of the bar on your second piercing? I've thought about using tragus bars for regular earrings so I could wear them while sleeping
I think somewhere between 4-6mm long. I recommend labret bars (flat backs) or a straight barbell with ball ends, they tend to catch less if you have long hair
@@Tronderose thank you 😁
Hi, how are this things called, that you have used?
beginner here, asking how many days should i wear per size?
At the smaller sizes you should be wearing them for a month + the bigger you go the longer you wait
THIS IS MY EXACT GOAL TOO!!!!
I just stretched mine from 18g(1mm) to 4g(5mm) in two weeks, not sure if its okay or not, but one of my friends did tell me that I better be patient cuz I went too fast, but my hole looks fine , no blowout at all.
Any tips on why taping? Any pros or cons? What kinda tape? I'm curious
Everything is explained in my other video :)
Yup, using the metric system really helps.
Hi! Where did you get your tunnels?
The steel tunnels are from Crazy--factory
Is the tape used to create a lil level in between each stretch? Like 4g with tape basically turns it to 3g then ?
That's right. In between each size, that is. The tape *is* the stretch
Where did u get those glass plugs I can't find it anywhere. Or what's the name of it
Single flare glass plugs from BodyArtForms :)
I’m so excited are these expensive how much for a whole package and after putting the jewelry on how long would you take till u added tape to it?
I bought them separately, check out the link in the description box. I usually waited 4-5 days to put new tape on
Broski they look sore tho, make sure to moisturise them daily and fully clean them once a week, I can remember when mine were at an 8mm and now they’re a 20!!!
It's almost been a year :') They're fine now
Where to buy it
Nothing to stop it from sliding out? I want to stretch my abit as my hole close too easily so I want it to be slight bigger than regular to prevent that from happening
The tape is what prevents it from sliding out, both because of friction and the pressure. Good luck!
So does the new size just go in straight away?
Cool. I think the 5mm looks best 👌
I’m stating my journey soon my plugs are on their way in the Mail. What do you use for tape? Is it surgical tape?
PTFE tape
How long did you have the 1,6 mm in the beginning before changing? I have that size atm and had them for around 2 weeks now and would just like to know for reference
6 days before I added the first layer of tape
How long in-between gages should I wait before moving to the next size?
Are you suppost to put the rubber bands back on? I feel like mine were gonna fall out I'd I didnt put them on
It shouldn't be necessary when stretching with tape, because it should fit tight in your ear. If it's loose, it means you can put more tape on!
@@Tronderose ok, i dont have any tape, so ill have to get some
Question, how would it be if you went more, will it tear your other pierce or will it like still be separated?
I think it would be fine, unless you go really big. Even then, I think it stretches more at the bottom than the top 🤔 You'll be able to spot if the skin between them starts to thin out, then you can stop stretching further or size back down.
It’s taken me 2 years to go from 20 to 2. I just put my 2s in for the first time.
I'm at 1 7/8s..... one size under 2 inches im stopping here 2 inches is just beyond me .. 0 Guage I was at 11 years ago. That is SUPER DUPER TINYYYY. But no disrespect here. To each their own., but I will say my goal size was 1 inch. Now I'm made a determined effort and choice and contentment to stay where I am. I love my giant plugs and tunnels or lobes I should say, but that's me. 💯
What kind of tape is that you used? X
Omg why did it took you 4 months to go from 4 to 5 mm? Or you just took a brake?
July 23rd to September 12th is approximately one and a half month :P
Where did u get your kit? Or have any good recommendations
I bought the tunnels separately from Crazy-Factory
wait so u driectly put one in then take it out or are you supposed to keep it on for a few days or what
I guess you missed the monthly timestamps in the top right corner :')
Where did you get your glass gauges from in the smaller sizes
The glass plugs are from BodyArtForms👌
How do they stay in
Pressure and friction
Bought metal taper and plug stretch kit.
Does anyone buy separate special plugs to put in while they sleep/heal pricess ??? The two rubber circles sometimes fall off the plug!
