Love the card and envelope. Am glad to see you add the additional black layer on the card. I too, always use additional layers in a coordinating color.
Witch way to the wine? A cute spooky Halloween card with a fun envelope. You never disappoint! Thanks for the share. Look forward to your next card sesh 👉
I love how you said, more than once, I'm not good at this, yet. (Or something along those lines!). I need to remember to give myself that grace when trying things that are new to me.
This is just sooo good! And you're envelope is perfection! I think I may challenge myself to create an envelope for each card to tackle my scrapbook paper stash more than anything!
Fantastic card Cathy. I’m glad you used the gold embossing powder for Happy Halloween. I think white would have been too stark. Great ink blending, nice spooky sky. I just love how this turned out. And fun envelope! I love the paper you used, it’s perfect with the card. I like to make envelopes when I can’t find a coordinating one to go with my card. Just another way to make a project “ours.” Thanks for another wonderful video!
I loved the sky when you masked the top to ink the bottom. Orange and purple are my favorite colors and those looked so great together. I have an ancient Martha Stewart scoreboard and it has a template and guide on the back for making envelopes. I always use it when I make multi-dimensional cards that need extra space and/or are odd sized. It really comes in handy. This card looked ready to go without the die cuts I thought.
Such a scary cute card! I love your choice of background colors and the gold embossed sentiment. Making envelopes is completely new to me I have never seen it done before. Thank you for sharing!
Love the ink blending colors at the top. They really make me happy. I am not really a Halloween person but think those colors will be great for a sunset card. Thanks for the mojo!
This is very cool! So happy to see you use a back ground piece, the black, for another layer. I always use one... not necessarily black, but a color that coordinates with a color on the front. In this case, black was the perfect choice! You're Happy Halloween is perfect, too. I wouldn't go with white on this one. It's great!!
There u go again- inspiring me to try something new...I've had my 123 punch board for the better part of 3 years and it has yet to be used. I think I'm going to go kick off my Hannukah & Christmas cardmaking with some custom A2 envelopes! Thanks for the unwitting nudge(s) Ms Z-- for both a new technique *and* my holiday crafting!
You are so singsonging on your pre-recorded and it just lulls me into a crafting trance. Great card Cathy. I immediately came over to watch when the release party ended.
Gorgeous card Cathy! Love the matching envelope. Always a nice touch...just gotta remember to do it!! TFS 🥰 P.S. Did you pick up on Gina's tip last night for priming stamps? She mentioned those magic eraser sheets work really well.... Gonna have to give those a try! Have a great day Cathy. I enjoyed having my morning coffee with you!
Cute Halloween card Cathy. Did you enjoy Gina's reveal last night? I did, didn't buy the Halloween stamp but her new bundle and looking forward to making some cards from that. Will you be doing more Halloween cards? Enjoy watching you make them even though I don't send Halloween cards out.
So cute, now just stamp "birthday " under the happy Halloween and send it to me. I am the same way with my punch board I have to score into the center.
Yep I was just a little ghoul. It was the best birthday growing up in the northeast where they really do Halloween. Costume parties st school then birthday party after school and trick or treating when in got dark
Good Afternoon, Cathy, I'm thinking of getting the Gemini Jr. and I would love to know where you got the Lazy Susan, awesome idea I have to say. I, too, don't have a lot of room and it would really work for me. Love your videos, always concise and helpful. I'm Elizabeth, a Canadian Gal sending hugs and blessings to you. Have an awesome day! 🎃
I got mine here: It’s called the Rotating Design Board: ldli.co/e/3op67ze I try to always list all the links for the products I use in the TH-cam description box below the video 😊
I really have enjoyed watching your videos. Up until about 2 yrs ago, I too had a crafting dining room. My husband hated it. I now have my own craft room that I have already outgrown. I have 1 question for you. Where did you get your turntable for your Gemini Jr?
So there is hope for me? Lol. The thing under my Gemini is called the Rotating Design Board: ldli.co/e/3op67ze I try to always list all the links for the products I use in the TH-cam description box below the video 😊

Cathy, are you educated in graphic design? I'm wondering if you're talent has an degree'd background or if you've always just been naturally talented which has grown from experience. You always come up with such a great product; you always seem to know just exactly what's going to look good.
Well, funny story. I got my degree in journalism, however… I had to learn design on the job, starting with my first job, as we had to write the copy AND then lay it all out for our publications. I pretty much read every book I could on design, studied what spoke to me, and learned the craft as I went. And then learned all the software to make it all come together. I love design theory and how it relates to every visual medium we play in!
Another awesome card & an envelope too?!?! Super cool!! Thanks Cathy! 🌷
Watching the brim of your witches hat flop around made me so happy 😆 Adore the card too
