I just did this trail last weekend. Its my favorite! Im checking out Verdi Peak next then Noonchester Mine Trail near the Rubicon. They are all forest service access roads.
Nice! I'm going there this weekend and taking a couple friends for their first trip in their truck. Super helpful to see that there are campsites (and a trail!) as we were planning on overnighting.
Thank you for the very kind comment and support! It means a lot, I really appreciate it! I hope you and your wife enjoy it when you make it out! Let us know what you think when you do!🍻
Lana LOVES the outdoors, which is great! I'm not entirely sure if she likes the 4x4ing bit just yet, but she generally likes driving in the car, so hopefully she'll grow into it. The big thing is being so small I really need to be careful not to do anything too jarring...
this will be perfect for my RAV4, I put a small eibach spring lift and some wildpeak AT3 on it and was looking for some soft trails when we go up this Oct, Tks for the info and if you any other light trails up there please let me know!
@niteranger6376 check out the video I just made for the Noonchester Mine Trail. It's very similar and just on the other side of the lake. I like both a lot! Enjoy!🤙
My man, thank you for the comment and support! I appreciate it! It really means a lot! The Jeep is currently having a lot of stuff done to it - re-gear to 4.88, on-board air, and paint protection film, but it should all be done soon and we'll be back out on the trails in no time! Not sure what's next, need to do some research! Stay tuned!🙏🍻
@jonluchessi1643 I think so. A stock Jeep should be able to get to the top with no issue. Having a small off-road trailer in tow shouldn't change the equation much. That said, you know the circumstances better than I do, so use your best judgment. Enjoy!🤙
@@FlawlessActivity I half to admit I sent you that message just partway through your video and then I continued watching after I sent the message it appears to be a very easy trail, my vehicle is heavily modified and so is my trailer so looks like a nice place to go and explore, you have a nice jeep set up very well👍👍👍
If you're deliberate, there and back from the North side entrance takes about an hour per way, so 2 hours total. Of course, you're welcome to take as long as you like, which is encouraged, given how nice it is out there! Thanks for the kind words! You're welcome and enjoy!🍻
@andyh6302 honestly, I don't want to get you stuck. I'd say most of the trail is fine, but there are a couple of spots that would make me nervous, and the final stretch in particular is more difficult than anything else. My best advice would be to use your judgment and don't attempt anything you're not comfortable doing. We left the same way we went in, so you can always enjoy as much as you're comfortable with, and there's no shame in turning around if it gets too dicey. Coming from someone who has manged to get a convertible Camaro stuck on a beach, nothing ruins a day faster...

That's awesome man! Glad to hear, and appreciate the leads on other trails I can look into. Keep the sunny side up brother!🍻🤙
Nice road looks fun and easy. Nice Jeep I have a 2007 in about the sam amount of accessories.

This was very helpful in seeing existing conditions. Thank you
For sure man! Thanks for the comment, appreciate it!🙏🍻
Just subbed.. thanks for the great content! This will be on the list to take my wife to go trailing.

How did Lana like the trails? Looks like she enjoyed it.

Great tail lights where did you buy them?
Do you think you could get a very small modified off-road teardrop trailer up there with a jeep?

You missed the best look out it was your first left after the station
About how many hours would you say it took? Thanks for the vid! Going to be in that area soon

@@FlawlessActivity Thanks, will take advisement under consideration
did you return North or continue South?
We returned North the way we came because it was getting late in the afternoon and our hotel was on the North side
Do you have the address of the entrance?
@@velascoxharborarea3104 I don't know it off the top of my head, but I'm pretty sure I mention it clearly with a map overlay in the video
No need to air down. Its that flat flat where pavement ends left next time
Not the flat left 1 mile up
