I'm wondering if Noah and Erik have an inside joke to see how many times Noah can ask Erik if he's seen the Big Chill, Erik says no, and then Noah explains it .. I seriously thought this was an old episode. I swear this is like the 4th time.

Can't tell you how bummed I was, as an 80s punk fan, that 2016 Trump didn't bring back punk in a big way. I think it's generational. The 80s were the latch key kids who had all the freedom to do what we wanted. The kids in 2016 had helicopter parents, so not as much creative energy.

I was a punk in my teens and I'm here to tell you that a punk scene brought forth by any politician is fake as hell.

      I don't care if society's right
I gotta live my own life
Political lies, we don't need 'em
      Ronald Reagan, that's not freedom

New 80s? No sir. The game is over but the establishment is choosing to go out in chaos which only hurts Americans.

But, the pandemic amplified the wokeness. It gave people who love to chastise others for their behavior more opportunities to complain about their lack of conformity. It was good actually because it meant those people went too far sooner than they otherwise would have. This then led to their delegitimization and the crumbling, to some degree, of wokeness. All to the good.

Love to show my lack of conformity by sneezing in someone's soup, very big brain

Something new. This is the decline. It’s like a failing casino being bankrupted. Everything is for sale.
