We are very eclectic and relaxed. We love diving deep into unit studies, but stick with core subjects, but love living books.... Haha! We could to do it all! 😅💕💕

Wow this is a very thorough video. I love how you covered to classical Education. Not many people truly understand this. We do a lot of Charlotte Mason. .

Thank you! Yes, I think people get lost on the memorization requirements, but forget that's how we learn anything! I'm definitely enjoying our Charlotte Mason additions, though!

I want to read the Charlotte Mason books. Exciting ! I feel so blessed that we can offer homeschool learning to our children. Our public school experiences were not great. We had a few great teachers but mostly spent a lot of time waiting for the Teacher to deal with delinquent kids. Awful.

Yes, we feel blessed to be able to have this experience too! I can't imagine not having this time with my kids now that I have it! (Although, there are rough days for sure!) I can relate to having to wait for teachers to handle the disobedient kids. There is certainly a lot of wasted time in a public school setting.

I think we are going to use the classical method and just dabble in the others. We have the whole collection of the Robinson Family curriculum CDs of classic literature. My husband just bought all of the Saxon math books (all levels). He doesn't want the newer editions with the weird new math.

It's nice to be able to pick and choose what we like of all the different methods and what works for each kid. I can relate to the math. I did NOT want the "new" math. I always hold to the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" mantra with math.
