Love this haul! You have me searching book outlet now! 😉 I found “traveler’s guide to the ancient world” by Usborne on ThriftBooks and its really cool! It covers Egypt, Greece, and Rome and reads as if you were going to take a trip there. I bought soo many living books for this cycle and that is one I’m looking forward to the most this year. Also the big timeline book by Masterbooks is cool because it helps to visualize time and “ancient” for my kids (they’re 6 & 7). I’m curious to hear how you like the scrolls books, I’ve never heard of them!
I'll have to keep you posted on what they think of the Scroll books! And yes, you never know what you'll find on Book Outlet. It's certainly not like Amazon where you feel like they're gonna have whatever you search for. But sometimes you get lucky and find perfectly new and in awesome condition books for a fraction of the price. I'll have to look for that Usborne book. That sounds like a good one! Great haul - thank you for sharing suggestions! I read A Long Walk to Water this summer, and decided that it'll be an option for my oldest (12 yo), but my 8 yo would definitely not be comfortable with the story. Also read Samurai Tale - really enjoyed that one. Its my 12 go's next read.
