Thank you. We appreciate your comments. Happy new year
"Why is it called Chinese New Year when it is being celebrated in Vietnam?"
"I am pretty sure Vietnam is not part of China!"
"LUNAR!"
Thank you for your comment. You are correct however please see my comment below concerning the Chinese populations in places like Vietnam, Thailand etc. Thank you for watching the video
Vietnam just like Korea uses the 'Chinese lunisolar calendar' for centuries thus why they celebrate 'CHINESE NEW YEAR', they do not use a "LUNAR!" calendar so it is bazar that western countries try to push people to call it so even when nobody in Asia has a issue calling it 'CHINESE NEW YEAR'. If you people really want to celebrate "LUNAR!" new year there is a Islamic new year this June as they use a "LUNAR!" calendar
Lunar New Year pls. not chinese
Ok. Correctly it's Lunar new year but many Vietnamese people call it Chinese new year and of course all over Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam etc have many people of Chinese origin that still say they are Chinese despite their families being in these countries for generations
Thank you for watching the channel
Chinese New Year uses the 'Chinese unisolar calendar' not a lunar calendar thus why it's Chinese New Year, but you're free to celebrate Islamic new year this coming June and it would be correct calling it Luna New Year as they use a 'Lunar' calendar
