Something to note here: Weiss's father, Jacques, is not a Schnee by blood. When he married Weiss's mother, he took her family name (Schnee) over his own (Gelé). This is what Weiss was referring to right before he slapped her. Also, her grandfather is Santa Claus.

yeah.. Jeff Williams is the one singing that tune during the second part of the fight... he's a beast.. his vocals are even more insane than Casey in lots of places.
Hands down, my favorite fight in the entire series.

Great reaction. That slap crystallized a lot about Weiss' character in my mind - the strike highlighted her scar, a reminder that her own family has done far more to hurt her than anything else in their miserable world.
When I saw how Jaques is treating Weiss, I thought: I didn't knew turds come in white too!!

This randomly popped up in my recommended videos. I stopped watching RWBY around the same time you did, and I remembered really liking it, so I figured why not refresh my memory by watching your old reactions. I just finished binge watching them and it was so much fun. Thanks for getting me back into RWBY.

Ya, know... I never watched this episode. I stopped watching the show at this point... and I think I just came to the realization that without your reactions, I just wasn't as into it. Now that you're doing this again, I think I'm gonna start again and watch along.
