Thank you I appreciate it!! The 5-sting is next on my list to purchase so i've been avoiding songs that require that low B. But Untiled 05 by Kendrick Lamar is on a 5-sting and defiantly worth learning!
really good work! i was wondering how difficult you’d say this is overall? i’ve been learning bass for just a few weeks now and i still have a long way to go until learning this (mainly the latter half) but this is my favorite song on the album and would love to learn the bass line one day
Thanks for the comment! its also one of my favs off the album! as you said the latter half does jump up in difficulty, i find you bounce around the fretboard at points which is tough when you're beginning and the rhythm can change up quickly to throw you off. BUT i've only been playing for around 1.75 years so i dont think it's impossible to learn! My advice for the second half is to take it slowly, drop the speed down to 50% and work in chunks, once you get the first little quarter of the ending solid move onto the next until you can confidently play the whole thing at 50% speed then start to work your way up the speed!
