I don't do Costco because I live alone, but I adore not having a house full of people on the day. Just me, my dog, and all of the goodies we like, free from squabbling and disappointments, not to mention the expense, and I get to keep all of the leftovers! Thank you for this wander through the store, though. Can't wait for more of your holiday videos!
you can still make friends then your house won't be empty and full of squabbling and disappointments but it never was that's just what your excuse is for being lonely
Toomanythings, sounds lovely too me, for years I have had Christmas with 20 / 25 people and here we have it on the 24 th , it starts with a long aperitif at 8 pm then we sit down to eat at 10 pm we finish around 1 or two in the morning , then at 12 am on the 25 we start all over . This year I am going to my daughter who lives in Tahiti and we will be just four what luxury and tranquility , of course I am not ungrateful to share Christmas with my friends , it’s just that I am getting too old and a early bed is so much more appealing too me now . I wish you and your little dog a lovely and very happy Christmas .
@@ItZFlipz You're an absolute weirdo thinking you can speak for random strangers on the internet you've never met, let alone know anything about their life, let alone be inside their mind and know how they FEEL? wtf...stop projecting onto strangers and thinking because something is difficult for you to comprehend, that it somehow can't be true for others. We aren't all as codependent as you sound...some people are very very comfortable and happy in their own company and have built their own lives/routines/comforts/safety of their own life.
Interesting take on life. I was under the impression that to have a great life the key is to stay engaged. Go out. Make friends. Enjoy the holidays. Heck, put up a Christmas tree and some decorations. I’m older than you and I strive to stay present and connected to all my good friends and, most of all, to myself. I now pick and choose my friends and who I prefer to surround myself with.
Nice to see a Costco in London to compare to my Costco here in California. Being a widow and living alone, it is difficult to find smaller portions in Costco but fun to look around. Happy Christmas to you and your family!
I live alone, but still shop at Costco. I portion it out for single serve. With freezer bins for each type item, pork, fish, beef, lamb, etc… I don’t have to shop that often. Gives me time to watch Hannah shop 😂
Another amazing video Hannah- I could listen to you all day- it’s such a treat, I never get fed up of your vids. Keep them coming. Thank you and a very Merry Christmas 🎉
I’m living in Canada now but was born and raised in southern England. Your vlogs are refreshing and entertaining. Costco membership here is easy with no specific rules about who can be a member. Keep up the good work.
Loving the video , loving the hair in a ponytail and your big winter coat. The chav look as you call it but only your beautiful self can make the chav look stylish and trendy. ❤😂🎉
Hi Hannah! Everytime we find something new and interesting in your vlogs. It would be interesting to see what lidl and aldi has in store. Looking forward for your next vlogs. Thanks Hannah, until next time! 😀❤🎄
I'm single and retired, yet I have been a Costco member here in Canada for 19 years. I avoid the stores here at Christmastime because of the massive crowds, but otherwise I go about once a month. I purchase prescription eyeglasses there and save a lot of money in comparison to optical shops. Part of the fun of shopping at Costco is finding items that you won't find anywhere else. Is it worth the cost of membership? Yes!
Thank you as always Hannah. Was fun seeing all of the Costco Christmas items with you. Your vlogs are awesome all year round but extra special during Vlogmas 🎄 What do I want to see during Vlogmas? Anything and everything as long as it’s with you. Hannah you always find fun, interesting and special places all year round. Your true subscribers will enjoy anything and anywhere you choose. Remember we love Christmas but we subscribe and tune in because of you. Please always remember you are appreciated Hannah. We know it takes a ton of time and effort to Vlog and it is very kind of you.
Bins are expensive anymore. I had sticker shock when I was shopping for a red metal can with the foot pedal. The best price I could find was $80 and that was about 7 years ago! I can only imagine how much they are now. The little glitter snow globes are lovely. I have two and they’re my new favorite decorations. 😊 One with Santa and one with a Nativity scene.
Always love your Costco vlogs and comments! We don’t have those membership restrictions here in the States. The reasoning behind that would be interesting.
That is why I don’t go to Costco very often and make a list and check it twice. But friends I go with buy everything in sight, they don’t need, but I really am strict with myself on that. Works for me. And just stay in the store 1 1/4 hours my limit to keep on track each visit.
"Where do people have room to store all this stuff?" 6:30 My parents (in their 80s) have all sorts of this sort of stuff. They store it up in the loft throughout the year and yours truly is tasked with getting it down before Christmas and storing it back up there afterwards for them.
They’ve now rolled out the entry door scanner to many of the US locations too. They are connected to a tablet that displays a large picture of the cardholder to the Costco staff member manning the door. So, not only does your membership have to be active just to browse, but the card member has to be present. Previously, technically you could walk in by flashing anyone’s card, expired or not, and given the size of the picture on the card and the volume of members walking in they didn’t actually check the picture at the door (although they would at the till/cash register).
That’s is why they changed their security system in Canada, too many people sharing their Costco cards and being dishonest, so that hopefully will eliminate the drop ins. Not fair to the honest people paying for a membership and using it for themselves. We can take a guest, so that’s great.
Shop Costco every other week, love to watch your videos. You have such a wonderful selection in England a little bit different here in Virginia.🇺🇸 but still wonderful❤️ happy holidays🌟
Actually found my costco card the other day when looking for something. Haven't been there for a good 12 months. Cant get over the size of a lot of the items. As we are having a quiet one at home this year we aren't getting too much. Definitely the donuts with JAM!!! The hubby is wierd as he won't eat donuts or spreads at all. But thankfully he's still eating my cooking ha ha. Hope you get a little bit of snow in London as it would be so pretty. Its just hot and humid here. Summer has only just started and I want it to be over already. Going to do some Christmas baking later in the week. So so loving the vlogs this year. Still can't believe we are nearly at the end of 2024. Looking forward to Saturday morning. Enjoy the rest of your week. Catch you later. ❤❤❤❤
Your selection at Costco is certainly better than ours, and I am in the Seattle area, home of the original Costco!!! So many lovely things... ❤❤❤ Also home of the original Starbucks 💚💚💚
Happy Tuesday, Hannah! Loved the Costco vlog today. Will have to venture into my local Costco to see if I can find a few of the items you showed. Have an amazing week! See you Friday!
Hey Hannah, Happy Tuesday! Costco is amazing here in the States as well. I’d say about 95% of Americans shop at Costco because they offer great-quality goods, reasonable prices, and excellent customer service. By the way, thanks, Hannah-I really enjoyed your Vlogmas! Hope you have a relaxing week, and I’ll see you on Friday🎄💐🇬🇧❤🇺🇸💐
I was just at Costco this morning. Tennessee, USA here. Love it , anybody that pony 's up the money can buy a membership here in the States. I have been a Costco shopper for many years, it's a blast to go and see what they have. Yours had different things than mine did. To be expected,I spose. I ordered car tires and will have them put on the car next week by their auto department. Can't wait!!
I was at two of these wholesale clubs today here in the U.S. - a Costco in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and a BJ's Wholesale Club in Chambersburg, PA. It's amazing how similar the Costco in London is to the one in Harrisburg - from the layout to even the products being stocked. I guess Costco really values consistency.
Nice vid as always Hannah, helps me to get into the holiday mood🎄, thnx. About membership regulations, bit strange isn't it? In the Netherlands we do not have it like Costco, but on some wholesale organizations like Costco the requirement is that you have a business, no 'discrimination' what profession you do or did. This rule exist because lot of products are indeed cheaper and/or special packed for HORECA business, but it is a bit of an outdated system as well. If you own a business you can give your customer pass to someone else and they can enter te store....about the prices in general to a wholesale store, it is not per definition always cheaper but the quantity is convenient. Especially for people in the USA or Canada, the distances are often a serious challenge compared to UK, Netherlands, Belgium etc.
The US Costco used to have an exclusionary membership. In the early 90s I worked for a law firm where the attorneys received 30-day trial membership cards. I used one of them (attorney had left) and went to Costco. Everything came in huge packs, not suitable for someone like me who doesn't drive and lives in a small apartment. I settled on a 6-pak of tuna and a commemorative crayon box. The checkout line was huge and when I realized they weren't going to give a bag to carry the items home, I put them down and left, never to return.
The membership criteria for individuals is some sort of UK legislation I believe to do with them being registered as a wholesaler. They have to keep the number of general public members below a certain threshold to qualify for that status. If you are a business owner you can sign up regardless of industry.
@ really? What’s the point then? They don’t restrict membership in other countries so it seems like a huge burden to check everyone’s jobs if it’s just for no reason
Live in the US and my go-tos are Costco and ALDI. ALDI in the US has great holiday items! I wish we had some more upscale stores where I live (like Fortnum and Mason or Harrod's). In that category, I go to Nordstrom.
Thx Hannah for this great visit to London Costco during the Christmas season! It seems that there are quite a few nice Christmas items available at Costco! I am sorry that more people are not able to shop there, but hopefully that will change in the future! I like all the different wine/spirits varieties, as well as so many other holiday items! Thx Hannah for ALL your efforts to provide multiple vlogs each week during the Christmas season...you are SO good at vlogging! FYI, I hope you & your sister are planning a lunch or tea in the near future! It is always great to see you both! Have a great week Hannah & be safe! I look forward to seeing you again on Friday! Merry Christmas!!!
Hannah - thanks for another Christmas vlog (yes to me they are still vlogs). In asnwer to you question, I do not like Farrero Rocher, mainly because of the hazlenuts (I am not a fan of them). As for that Giant Lindt advent calender , someone did a review of it on their youtube channel - its basically a rip off - you get about 4 - 5 normal size items that are repeated (so you get about 5 of the chocolate santa's, 5 of the chocolate teddy bears, etc). If you are going to try some new chocolate (I am from Canada but do like this brand), do try the US brand Ghirardelli chocolate, it is very good quality, not high end that you would buy in Harrods, but at the higher end of commercially made chocolate. Thanks for the Costco inside peek, here in Canada, just about anyone can purchase a membership, we had one years ago, but after few years, we got tired of having to buy a dozen of everything, especailly in the fresh made section and bakery, but that's how the American's love to by their food and things. (which of course leads to over consumption and waste, but that is another conversation). Looking forward to your M&S christmas food vlog, to see the picky bits - they always look so good. Also, you were dressed exactly as you should be for a visit to Costco, so again, we watch for the content you are sharing with us, not what your wearing or how your hair looks.
Yes definitely a Ferrero Rocher fan. Love the pick and mix packets. Some of the goodies are not a bad price. Thanks Hannah. Enjoyed the tour. Enjoy the rest of your week.
Hannah you are simply a genius ❤❤❤ Even if you do an episode about the air, I will still click and watch. You voice is so addictive. Any company will gladly employ you. ❤❤❤
The thing is…. Companies purchase a lot at these warehouse places so they wouldn’t pay tax, or VAT. I admit to having the giant plush bear and it serves as our “TV Beanbag” for my dog & I. It was $299 US.
Technically, it’s not “if you have a company you can claim the VAT” but rather on items that will be re-sold. It’s a similar situation in the USA where items purchased by a business for resale (hence Costco _Wholesale_ ) are exempt from local and state sales tax (for most types of merchandise there are no federal sales taxes or value-added taxes) in the USA.
Another fun blog nothing beats a hannah Christmas video. Always entertaining, like watching a friends video just saying it as it is. Starting the video looking amazing as always and being like , I look a state haha.
Another amazing fun video, thank you Hannah. The rules and regulations to become a member at costcos is quite bizarre in the UK. You look gorgeous as always. Much love from Australia 🌼💕
OMG I love this channel, Hannah is so good at showing us all these fantastic places. One thing I noticed is that the American Costco never have Omega/Tag/Rolex anymore. Only cheap stuff.
For another video how about London Markets or The Boat Show or The Homes Show Earls Court or NEC. Day Trip to say the Sea Side. Afternoon tea at The Grande, Brighton and / or The Metropole!
Costco membership Eligibility usually depends on profession, with business owners, local government employees and people working in education, medicine, banking or the police generally granted access for an annual fee of £26.40. The Money Saving Expert (MSE) founder, however, has highlighted a different route into Costco in his latest newsletter. While it goes unadvertised by the retailer, members of British motoring associations the AA and the RAC, as well as members of the National Trust conservation charity, are eligible to join specific branches of Costco. The team encouraged first time Costco shoppers to take a list with them to save being overwhelmed by what's on offer, which, in turn, could lead them to spend much more than they intended to.
The super thick throws are very nice. I am not a Costco member but there are no restrictions in the USA for a Costco card membership according to their website. I have a Sam's Club membership. Sam's Club is similar to Costco. Thank you for sharing your visit in the Costco store. Merry Christmas!
Hannah I still haven't mustered the will to queue for a parking spot at my local Costco branch. I'm hoping they extend their hours of operation(if the government allows it). I noticed retail hours were generally curtailed in the wake of our hosting the winter Olympic Games. Maybe in January traffic will simmer down. I'm quite excited though, having ordered a tin of festive seasonal tea from Fortnum and Mason, immediately after watching your recent vlog. It's supposed to arrive today! Impressively prompt long distance service! I'll be spending Christmas solo and celebrate with some wonderful organic produce. The time always seems to fly when watching your vlogs! The Hannah effect! Merry Christmas again dear girl! I'll be looking for you again Friday. Take care.
😂 I bought the double sided wrapping and it’s genius - gave me variety of wrapping for underneath the Xmas tree but all in the same complimentary colours… def recommend! And one packet has done mine and my father’s entire Xmas wrapping and still loads leftover.
The Costco here on Maui is a madhouse compared to London! It took me 10 minutes to get out of the parking lot this morning. It's the cheapest place to buy almost anything here on the island, including gas...always massive lines and there are 16 pumps. Hannah, I love your videos! The London ornaments are a treat to see, as well as local foods. I laugh every time you refer to "beigey bits!"
WOW..... uk Costco is very expensive...when I work out the exchange to dollars... the uk vat price is almost equivalent to the dollar price before exchange..... not many people shopping, very interesting video to see what you pay for food and added STUFF..... 👍
This Xmas vlog at Cotsco is really cool! Hannah, you should have bought you that huge bear🐻! 😄😀I'm sure your nieces would love it too! Besides those beautiful Christmas decorations they have, it's really cool to see fancy branded products like Tag Heur watches and fancy glasses being sold at Cotsco. Thanks for braving the cold weather to bring us another cool tuesday Christmas vlog! 🎄✨🎇🎀🔔🎁☃❄
Hey Lady Hannah great to see you on today shopping at Costco and i really enjoy joining you on your great shopping ventures at the stores in London take care and thank you Lady Hannah. ⛄🎄🇬🇧🎄🎁
Yes we scan cards & show receipts…in Cali. COSTCO ….Your prices in London COSTCO are HIGH! Happy Holiday shopping love you & your video commentary …hope Santa is good to you!❤
That was a nice nativity. Always get excited when I see them. Some of those Christmas decor items are so big, I wonder where people store them! Christmas Crackers are still a thing in Australia. Some years we do them, some years we dont. I only like the ones with the earrings, keychains, & cufflinks. They seem a bit less wasteful, & sometimes theyre on special.
If you haven't seen Hannah's christmas costco video from last year, you're missing out. Watching her absolutely out of her element and in genuine shock at everything she came across is priceless. It made me appreciate the convenience of costco a little more. It IS exciting 🥲 I'm curious to know how much she uses the takeaways from here now.
I love your posh vlogs, Hannah😂 but it’s fun to compare UK Costco with US Costco. I just bought the Costco wreath (gorgeous); it was only $19.95 here (under £16)! Keep encouraging me, I need to do a Square Space website🙌😊
Loving the extra videos, im glad you said Two a week IF you can manage it, dont wear yourself out, we know you work full time as well🙂 ...What would i buy? the Corn Dogs, i enjoy how its a sausage thats the texture of the sausage in batter from a chippy, and the casing is like a Yorkshire Pud texture...very Om Nom, wish we could buy them in the supermarkets, maybe we can.
So as an American who lives NEAR a Costco.... we're going this weekend to get whipped cream in a can, because it's our cat's favorite. She gets twice daily meds and a bribe of whipped cream to go with it. Kirkland brand for her - no fancy brands for this cat! But, also, being American, we have a giant chest freezer and get good quality beef at decent prices and can store the excess for later. Merry Christmas, Hannah. :)
Next time you go to Costco, buy the individually wrapped onion soup in a brown box, located in the freezer section. Trader Joe's have it too, but in a smaller box. So so delicious!
I live in Central Canada and EVERYONE can get a Costco membership, so this time of year is shoulder to shoulder shopping and over 30 min wait to get cashed out. I couldn't believe your Costco had some empty isles. That would make it a better experience. Love your videos!!!!
Hello Hannah.your vlogs are always so entertaining.I love love when you make your side comments at Costco and the BIG Teddy Bear.I went to a shop ,there was the same bear. You looked so lovely in the teddy bear 🧸 arms. And you look pretty,no matter how your hair looks. And yes I do go Costco quite regularly when I need to buy certain things in bulk and am from Montreal Canada. The weather has changed here as well , got some snow ❄️.but your vlogs bring some warmth ❤. thank you n waiting for Friday 😊😅
Hello Hannah, love your vlogging! I can’t believe how expensive Costco is in the UK compared to Australia. There are no rules as to who can join Costco in Australia. Apple products are cheaper through Costco compared to buying direct from Apple. 😊
I don't do Costco because I live alone, but I adore not having a house full of people on the day. Just me, my dog, and all of the goodies we like, free from squabbling and disappointments, not to mention the expense, and I get to keep all of the leftovers! Thank you for this wander through the store, though. Can't wait for more of your holiday videos!
that sounds mine too. I just add an "s" in dog(s) as i have two atm. We watch many movies with our special foods together

As a Belgian, Neuhaus is indeed a posh brand. They actually invented pralines here which is really cool!
I found that Nativity Scene a few years ago at a house in my neighborhood put out for the trash-it’s beautiful.

They say you can't buy love but if a man bought me that Lindt advent calendar? Yeah, he just bought himself a whole load of love hahaha.

No it isn't, it's just purely random. There is no such law.
@ really? What’s the point then? They don’t restrict membership in other countries so it seems like a huge burden to check everyone’s jobs if it’s just for no reason
It's discriminatory and a reminder that we really do have a class system in the UK.
@@NickLea ah he's right it is a thing
Merry Christmas!!!
dont like christmas its rubbish and waste of money be glad when its over. looking at this rubbish in the shop its all meaningless rubbish
I love their fillet steak, the beauty is you can cut the fillets to your own thickness, they’re meat is generally very good.
Yessss cant wait for the M&S food video!
I live in the US and was so excited to find that Target has some Christmas M&S item's .
@@SusannaLampert- oh they finally got some M&S stuff? Was just in London & the selection was lovely!
Hannah you are simply a genius ❤❤❤
Even if you do an episode about the air, I will still click and watch.
We have a farm business and claim VAT back - nothing to do with resale.
@ if it is a business expense then I would assume you get to claim the entire cost of the item against you P&L.
Thanks for taking a tour around Costco exclusive and also for sharing
Christmas markets would be nice 😊
You are doing excellent work ⭐️
dont like christmas its rubbish and waste of money be glad when its over. looking at this rubbish in the shop its all meaningless rubbish
I bought one of those Karcher window vac, its absolute tosh. Quicker to go round the windows with a bottle of glass cleaner & microfibre cloth.
Love you Hannah, thank you for keeping it real ❤🙏🏼
I love Kinder bueno, Ferrero and anything hazelnut!!! I love London and of course the videos that Hannah makes for us!!! ❤❤❤😊😊
Great video Hannah, as always. Tree up now, feeling festive. I go solo Christmas day, my kids all grown up. Still make a Christmas dinner
Thank you Hannah, another great vlog ❤️🎄❤️🎄
Hi Hannah love your channel I binged watched your vids you are a breath of fresh air and really enjoy your content so fun 😊
Costco membership
Eligibility usually depends on profession, with business owners, local government employees and people working in education, medicine, banking or the police generally granted access for an annual fee of £26.40.
17:24 "Look at the state of that one" *evil cackle. Love it 😁😁
The super thick throws are very nice.
I am not a Costco member but there are no restrictions in the USA for a Costco card membership according to their website. I have a Sam's Club membership. Sam's Club is similar to Costco.
Thank you for sharing your visit in the Costco store. Merry Christmas!
Hannah you are marvellous, thank you!
Take care.
Love another video from you! All price points. Yes!❤❤❤❤❤
Same here in Boston area. Always a madhouse.
I’d really like you to do TK Maxx so we can see how it compares to Winners/Marshalls/HomeSense/TJ Maxx in North America! ❤
WOW..... uk Costco is very expensive...when I work out the exchange to dollars... the uk vat price is almost equivalent to the dollar price before exchange..... not many people shopping, very interesting video to see what you pay for food and added STUFF.....
Hey Lady Hannah great to see you on today shopping at Costco
and i really enjoy joining you on your great shopping ventures
at the stores in London take care and thank you Lady Hannah.
⛄🎄🇬🇧🎄🎁
Lol, loved the random guy in the food section giving you the side eye. 😂😂😂
Yes we scan cards & show receipts…in Cali. COSTCO ….Your prices in London COSTCO are HIGH! Happy Holiday shopping love you & your video commentary …hope Santa is good to you!❤
Great vlog Hannah. The bbq chicken is a must at Costco and the triangle sandwiches yum. Can’t wait to see the London Christmas lights!!!!❤❤❤
Yay I love your Costco videos
Thank you! Costco near me in the States is full of people. Your video was so quiet. I am now hooked on your vlogs. ❤
Thanks Hannah. Do love a Christmas vlog. Looking forward to the M and S one.
If you haven't seen Hannah's christmas costco video from last year, you're missing out. Watching her absolutely out of her element and in genuine shock at everything she came across is priceless. It made me appreciate the convenience of costco a little more. It IS exciting 🥲
I'm curious to know how much she uses the takeaways from here now.
Another lovely Vlogmas with Hannah! 🎅🏻❤️
Thank you for the Vlog. Makes me want to do a Costco run. Love Vlogmas!
Hannah, I would watch this even if I lived in London, maybe especially if, just so that I could see where I wanted to do my shopping.
I love your posh vlogs, Hannah😂 but it’s fun to compare UK Costco with US Costco. I just bought the Costco wreath (gorgeous); it was only $19.95 here (under £16)! Keep encouraging me, I need to do a Square Space website🙌😊
Loving the extra videos, im glad you said Two a week IF you can manage it, dont wear yourself out, we know you work full time as well🙂
...What would i buy? the Corn Dogs, i enjoy how its a sausage thats the texture of the sausage in batter from a chippy, and the casing is like a Yorkshire Pud texture...very Om Nom, wish we could buy them in the supermarkets, maybe we can.
Loving the extra video❤❤❤❤❤thanks Hannah ❤❤❤
Next time you go to Costco, buy the individually wrapped onion soup in a brown box, located in the freezer section. Trader Joe's have it too, but in a smaller box. So so delicious!
Vlogging Seasonal Happiness With Hannah!
I live in Central Canada and EVERYONE can get a Costco membership, so this time of year is shoulder to shoulder shopping and over 30 min wait to get cashed out. I couldn't believe your Costco had some empty isles. That would make it a better experience. Love your videos!!!!
Tjohoooo i saw the swedish gingerbisquits called pepparkakor!!!!SOOO GOOD!!!
No I don’t agree on the membership qualification but did enjoy the look around 😊😊😊❤❤❤
