Asturias is a must visit for all foodies , and those who want a city break with a difference. Great value for money and superb regional cuisine. I strongly recommend a visit. As always all reviews impartial, and all food and drink paid for by myself.
Love your videos of Asturias. I am from Gijón and I love the way you explain every taste. You forgot to say that ´culín´of cider means ´little arse´... Very important point! :)
Ah , my knowledge of Spanish is a bit formal , but good to know . Also glad you enjoyed my representation of Asturian cuisine . Very much a destination that goes under the radar
The next long video features la galana , but it’ll come out on a gap day in the World Cup as I’m busy producing my “daily kebab “ series about the World Cup and food the moment
Great video! I spent my third year of uni in Asturias and try to go back as often as possible. Will you be visiting Oviedo? Would love to see you do a review of somewhere down Gascona!
Thank you so much! I'm going there next Wed :) Like you said, I'm used to having the sea urchin the Asian way - do you think I could ask them not to cook it? Great content btw!
they will cook it , I like the Japanese preparation but it's not what they do despite it being a country that eats a lot of raw dishes. if you can find a Japanese or fusion restaurant you might get lucky.

Very good video of my hometown!😊
Thanks! 😃
15 years ago, in sidrería La Galana, I try an "arroz caldoso con andaricas" that I will never forget in my life. It was a dish from another planet

Do you need the waiter over every time you need a slurp? Must be a better way to aerate the cider...
There’s a machine called an “Isidrin “ but I prefer hand poured
