It requires crazy econ augments, winstreaking for a while, or fortune with minimal losses.
Zyra is the best way to normally do it because she's so strong at 2star and an amazing item holder for things like hwei, azir, Morgana and Liss

I think you could have made 10 at 2-3. My best guess is that he would try to hold onto the aatrox or darius pair as his next unit to ensure board strength but even then, i think preleveling would lower the odds of a darius two compared to say aatrox to make a pair. So even if he wanted to maintain the units he had, wouldnt the higher percentage play be to play for darius two will already good odds for aatrox?

dunno about your servers but EUW whenever you play the only comp you can go is the one the game feeds you, no good saying this comp rules and then the game gives u 0 of those champs its more a game of luck sometimes then skill

Why do people remove units when they reroll augments?

So they will not get "tailored augments" such as trait crests, or trait specific augments (mind over matter, call to adventure, etc)
