What is the purpose of the AI's? I'm trying to get more out of Picasim because I use it daily when I'm in a lot of pain and have for years but there are things I didnt know! Like the I've only just discovered the walkabout function. Lol Now I need to know what the AI gliders do. Are they autonomous? And just dynamic obstacles essentially? Finally, can I get or make any new planes?
They're just eye candy! They also "know" where the thermals are which is why all the gliders turn in the same direction at about 0:27 in the video - so you could follow them to find lift.
After the DLG launch? It's because currently the AI "cheats" and knows where the thermals are - so they all launch at the same time, and they all (well, most) head for the same location. After a little while they start being a bit more independent.
I'm afraid OSX is there, but isn't hugely high up on my ever-expanding todo list. I've been told it runs fine (including controller support) under PlayOnMac, so that is hopefully good enough for the time being (I know it's not ideal). Yes - the AI here is only just the start - it's still very primitive. There's a lot of possibilities - e.g. combat, racing, aerotow etc. We'll see what happens!
jlukej2003 Pause, then press the "eye" button at the top of the screen (in 3D sceneries, not panoramas). Alternatively, if you ave a keyboard, press 'c' (for camera).
I think I forgot to post this here: th-cam.com/video/7kudDPjr_gQ/w-d-xo.html

How to fly several aircraft at the same time?
please answer quickly
how did you get the aircraft to fly in the same pattern?

Are you considering making an osx version? ps combat would be awesome with the ai planes.
