I find this stunning singing by Ms Caballé (particularly the long and slow spun out arias), probably some of the best singing I have heard from her live from this period (better than some of the very dramatic parts she also sang at this time which sometimes showed quite a lot of harshness on loud high notes).

Much prefer Caesar as a bass. Much more manly than a counter tenor. Ptolomy better as a counter tenor though due to his age at the time (15 I think)
