Hilmor has a habit of taking existing products and making them cheaper and often better. When they make a hose system like true blue , I will probably buy it.
I’m interested in this. I watched the pipe wipe demonstration video a month ago & now this. I have a few questions since your company has been using this type product for a few years. Do you use this on every change out or only on the line sets you can’t replace? My company replaces the line set when we can & uses the r22 flush process when we can’t. This seems much easier…& less expensive for the homeowner.
Got mine last month. Works great. Just wish they would make one to clean out primary drain lines to clean out all of the snoot. Compressed air and gravity feed water does not work.
What about going through all those shitty couplings and 90 joints where the original installer didn't Reem the pipe. In fact, will it go through a 90 fitting?
I just feel like I’d end up doing a ton of full line set replacements because of stuck pigs. I’d need to see it go around corners before I’d give it a shot
Every time I order something Hilmor I never get it. The last thing was their dual clamp, dual readout, digital temperature meter I ordered through K-Tool. They said it was in stock on their website but 8 months later I still didn't receive it. So, I ordered a Fieldpiece through Supplyhouse & got it in two days. Needless to say, I don't do business with K-Tool anymore.
@@TheWilber09 I understand that but what about bends in the walls, or floor joists that might not be accessible? What happens if it gets lodged and your not able to get it out? That is my only concern. Older homes have some sketchy linesets lol
the plugs look like a sponge type material I’d assume they take shape to whatever it’s inside passing through. Unless it’s completely pinched off well then you got another problem. Using this you’re assuming line set has a free flow path.
If it gets stuck going one way through the line set, just reverse your nitrogen through the other side of the open line set. As a previous post said if you have that much problem getting it to come out, you probably have some future problems with the system that you should address at that time.Any line set can be replaced it just depends on the homeowners willingness to spend the money.
@@bluebellharleyrider But there is a HUGE difference between having to change the lineset because it needs to be changed and having to change it because I blew something into it and clogged it up lol
I see that both of the manufacturers that are offering this product don't show how it works in real life which scares me of using it. What if that piece gets stuck inside the system and don't know where it is. What are you going to do? Make a video on how it works in a condenser or evaporator and I will be a 100% convinced that it actually works. I am skeptical about this. I need to see it to believe it.
If you think I’m sending a damn pig through a lineset, you’ve lost your mind. Damn rough in guys probably kinked the lineset in multiple spots. Now what?
Put systems in that I haven't heard a word from in over 12 years. Have systems that fail fairly quickly. Same process. New linesets ect. This all makes 0 difference

Was awesome meeting you at the show. I stopped by their booth and loved the demo. Will definitely buy it and try it out myself. 👍🏻
How do they fare traveling through 90s? Over long distances? Slightly ovaled tubing? Do they make an 1 1/8"?
What If that plug gets stuck somewhere in line
please upload a video of the use when you go to use this. I love Hilmor products, they make some really solid stuff.
A infield demonstration would be greatly appreciated 🙏🏾
Coming soon
It looks similar to the pipe wiper product that has been around for years, I agree though it's a very elegant version

Can you please show how to use it in the field? I need to clean a line set on a condo that can't be replace. Thanks
Will it work on pro press fitting
How is this going to work on tight radius 90's or if the line has a slight deformity?
Can it push through 90s?
Introduced new tool but I don't know what tool called. How to search to order...
I would love to see this like a pull though option where you drop a string. Like cleaning a shotgun
Been using my AJAX Pipe wiper for years. May have to try this one and compare

Just blow it back the other direction
@@rojobandito318 Yep, I will not risk running this thing through the pipe. Ever!
Nice! Would love to see it in action!

That's odd?
What happens when the pig gets caught in the pipe? Say on a 90 or kink in the copper?
It's for when both ends are open and straight after the condenser and evaporator is removed.

Love my Pipe Wiper! The flush kills vac oil.
That’s for sure, better have a few pumps and lots of oil on the job.
You dont blow it through with nitrogen?
@@____MC____ yes. Only n2.
@@lee-johnson i used the rx11 flush with no problems for years. Im just curious how it kills pump oil. Never heard of that before.

Great product! What’s the price on it?
You don’t need to use chemicals with this correct ?
Bought the pipe wiper months ago and still haven't gotten it
Nice set, hilmore should off send you one do to a giveaway, its a great away to promote a new product
I would like to see that work in some see there pipe

I need that bad
That's what she said :)

What about passing through elbows, kinks, reduction in pipe size, there is a lot of shi... on the field.

Push it back the other way and then find and fix the problem

I like Hilmore, but I'd have to pass on this gizmo. Has trouble written all over it...
