Salvation ! I had my interview at the US embassy in Kinshasa the 23/02/2022 F2A visa we were 4 children and everything went well among us 1 received the visa because he had two co-sponsors and 1 sponsor and we 3 others the officer consular to request that we resubmit the I-864 and IRS 2021 to finalize the procedure for obtaining our visa! fortunately we submitted it the same day after the interview at Ceac. my question is this how long we have to wait to finalize and take the Visa?
Hello sir, my wife had her interview a month ago and we are still having issues getting the visa simply based on incorrect information that her mother did for her siblings birth certificate, which has nothing to do with my wives since her birth certificate is accurate and all documentation is good to go. Why are they still focusing on extended family and not issuing the visa for my wife? They aren't updating the 221 g statement and still lingering on that matter.

This happened to my husband in Mexico. Apparently banned for 5 years, 5 years later, we are trying to find out if he applies for the 221g and unfortunately USCIS nor NVC has any documentation in the US, they both sent me back to reach MX. Sadly Mexico is not helping, how can I go by obtaining his records.
Hi SR. I have a b2 visa and me and my fiance applied for a k1 visa. Question: visiting too often and staying for 2,3 and this time 5 months out of 6 months my fiance in the US could be a denial for my k1 visa? I never overstayed nor i have used my visa for a different purpose than turism, but im scared they can say im living here or smth like that and deny my k1 visa. The only purpose is to travel the US and killing the uscis wait times. Please answer!!

I originally booked for B1 visa interview, however I changed it to an F1 visa interview and I got the confirmation. When I went to the embassy for the interview they said they couldn't find that I changed to F1 visa interview, but when I showed the confirmation, they gave me another time slot the same day. Unfortunately despite of showing my I20 document and all other stuff, I am issued with a 221g. Any explanation ??
Please enlighten me our status visa check is short by one applicant instead of 4. While our Ds260 CEAC is 4 and submitted all docs and waiting for interview appointment. Will we receive 4 appointment letter? Or will there be issues? Thank you for you help.

What if our K1 case was Ready for months during the pandemic, we were then sent an email that my fiancee has an interview date scheduled (along with all the pdf files that they send with the interview invitation email), but on the same day we got the interview invitation email, our case status changed from Ready to Refused? Does this just mean the case is pending interview? How do I find out what exactly is wrong, or if something is actually wrong? I wrote to the embassy, but have not heard back yet. My fiancee is still planning to go to the interview as they have sent the invitation letter.
if you have not been interviewed and/or refused within the last 2 months, please select "previously refused ." Applicants may be denied visas for false representation. This is what is written their. And it's over two months I was interviewed and refused. Please, should I select regular or previously refused
My visa application is stuck under 221g since 2018. If I apply for a new visa (maybe under different category), should I say that I had a visa denied or not?

Thank you so much for the clarification. My parent had their interview today and the officer said everything was fine they will get their visa. My dad's medical exam was missing a test or something because it takes 6 weeks to do it. Immigration visa status says REFUSED and I was so confused why. Now I know why I they did that because they are waiting on my dad's medical exam. Mom's case says administrative processing. Thanks again you saved me a lot of trouble.

I had interview on first of August and I didn't reach earlier to Pakistan for my medical check up. Therefore, I had interview before my medical check up during the interview the consular told me your case approved based on your documents you have submitted to us you are required to have this visa. Then after interview I asked them to return my passport until I complete my medical then he gave me with a letter that was administrative processing paper and asked me do your medical and submit your passport including your medical results to us. Then I did it but it's 10 days after submitting my documents I didn't receive and update and the visa status also is refused I don't know what should I do. I need your help.

We applied for US Non-Immigrant Visa through US Embassy in Riyadh for family including myself, wife and 3 children (all minor 3-4 years of age).
Interview Date 11th Dec, 2022.
Questions asked:

Counselor. I am going to keep your passports for now as it needs further verification. If there is any information required, you will be contacted.
No Paper was handed over.
Once we came back, check the status of applications it showed as follows for all applications.
All 3 Children:
Visa Status Flow: Refused (11 Dec,2022) à Approved (18 Dec,2022) àIssued (19 Dec,2022) and on the 21st Dec, I collected the passports of all 3 children stamped with visas.
Self:

Wife:

Remarks for each status were as follows.
Refused Admin Processing: A U.S. consular officer has adjudicated and refused your visa application. Please follow any instructions provided by the consular officer. If you were informed by the consular officer that your case was refused for administrative processing, your case will remain refused while undergoing such processing. You will receive another adjudication once such processing is complete. Please be advised that the processing time varies and that you will be contacted if additional information is needed.
Approved: Your visa is in final processing. If you have not received it in more than 10 working days, please see the webpage for contact information of the Embassy or Consulate where you submitted your application.
Application Received:“Your case is open and ready for your interview, fingerprints, and required documents. If you have already had your interview, please check your status after two business days. If no interview was required, please check back in two business days for the status of your application.”
Refused: A U.S. consular officer has adjudicated and refused your visa application. Please see the letter you received at the interview.
Lastly, until now no email or message received explaining reason of refusal. I am expecting there will be a paper explaining refusal reason along with the passports when we are asked to collect.
My Question is can they refuse visa after “approved” status? Secondly what is logic to grant visa to 3-4 years children and not to parents. How are they supposed to travel without parents.

Hi sir ,I went for my interview they give me a 221g first ,consoling told me to submit pictures ,chat ,prov of travel and a joint sponsor but they other documents was accepted only my join sponsor documents was refuse now they told me to upload my police documents and joined sponsor now my new joint sponsor income is 65 thousand she works with the state department but she didn’t fill in her 2020 tact return due to her busy schedule but she end me letter from the stat department and her pay check and her 2020 w2 will it be okay
My US visa has been denied under section 214b. Me and my mom applied for a visa. We are from the philippines. The consular didn't ask my mom any question. She only ask about me and she didn't even looked any of my documents. We want to go to the US because my sister is going to have a kidney transplant and we don't have any other relatives there. We have a medical cert and a letter from her doctors but the consul didn't ask for any of our documents as a proof that we are telling the truth and i'm going to stay there for a short period of time. Sir consulate asking me job offer or any positive mail or chat with the employer for my job seeker visa for germany. Hi, I need someone help regarding this matter. I applied us b1/b2 visa in 2018 which was approved first and then goes into administrative processing and they hold my passport for 4 months but I asked them to return my passport for travel and never send back because they hold it for 4 months and I was frausrated . But administrative processing change to refused in 2020. How can I know the exact date of refusal because they send my passport back in 2018 till than until 2020 was under administrative processing. How do I know the exact year of refusal is it 2020 or 2018 ?

My sister after she was interviewed they required her for two documents that we submitted and has been accepted in CAECE login. But after accepted we see one more ducomemt that they weren't require why is still missing. And then we called asked imagratoin why in the CAECE login missing or incomplete on my mom name that weren't require why ask for I864 EZ? And us embassy told us that do what they require us to do. Sir I applied visit visa on 7th September but visa officer refused give me white paper and returned passport.

Hii my visa got refused in 2018 and in 2020 i lost my passport. I got new passport but passport number got changed. So will my rejected visa record be will still there if i try with new passport that have different number from old passport?
I had an immigration interview with my mother and father in law on 2nd may 2024. My wife is a US citizen. The consular officer gave all of us 221 g slips(no documents were required) and two boxes were ticked
1) administrative processing
2) passport (submit via courier)
The consular office didn't keep our passports
Since 2nd may 2024 our cases got updated two times.

My K1 Fiance visa was refused because our religion recommend us to have a church marriage before an official (court) wedding.
the consular told my fiance because she has a church wedding certificate she is not eligible for a K1 fiance visa, she need a spousal visa .

Yes, I got my immigrant visa and already living in the USA for years, I got an ISSUED a week after a Refused, true, a refusal is not the end, they just need more time to check my documents sent after the interview. Thank You!

Thanks so much I just got my interview and was given a refuse form asking for the original divorce decree which I didn't have with me at the time of interview but the officer is holding on to my passport and one copy of my passport photo asking to mail the divorce decree my question is before my husband failed for Me he wasn't making enough income so he's mom was he's joint sponsor but he made enough income and didn't need the joint sponsor I went in with he's tax return for 2021 and 2022 but the officer still asking for the joint sponsor in this case do my husband needs a new affidavit of support to show he's making enough income or he still should add the joined sponsor

After my k1 visa I was handed a white slip on how to pick up my issued immigrant visa at the pick up point, then working days after the interview the lagos consulate called me and asked me to go submit original copy of my police report at the same pick up point, the lady sent me a email which reads..."we write to inform you that your visa is printed. We request that you drop of your police report with the attached document" the attached document on the email is a 221g form were the police report was asterisked , later on the embassy. Called back the email but I have already submitted the police report and document as the lady informed me on phone... what's next with my case pls?
