We were all bummed when Ricky went to Honda... and years later it was truly confirmed Honda made an $$$ offer he couldn't refuse... At that time Pro Circuit lost more riders because they couldn't or wouldn't pay our and that era Kawasaki had tight grip on their wallets
this race was broadcast by 2 different networks. theres an espn one with eckman and bailey and this one with terry gannon and bailey, how is this possible?
Jeremy won for 9 out of 10 years. That's pretty much unbeatable. He had a great run, but RC was now The Man. I love both riders for different reasons. After RC retired, I stopped watching SX
Not according to RC. He switched because Kawasaki was not coming out with a new bike in 2002, but Honda was. RC used a '98 KX frame in 2001 to win but wasn't going to be allowed to use it again in '02
2001 and 02 suppose to of been one of the best years for The CR250 . I hate to say it Honda is the shtiest bikes in motocross to day . They don't even make a two stroke anymore . But thats ok they wasn't worth a sht after the mid 1990s
What!? They don't make a two stroke anymore! OMG this is breaking news! How many manufacturers make two strokes still 😂😂😂😂 clown and don't bring up Yamaha they haven't changed their two strokes in years.

@fred savage well that was certainly a bold move having it on three networks. wonder how it paid off?
ABC hosted the race via espn wide world of sports
DV. Not many riders beat both RC and JM straight up.

I like ABC 7 Los Angeles.
was the switch to honda cause they offered more money?
Yeah at this point in time he’s earring 1 or 2 million a year for 2 years I think it was

It's always about the money
Travis Preston has plenty of personality and is worth listening to on the podium.

97 on up they all sucked compared to the steel frame CR’s. 93 was probably the best year ever for the CR250 with the engine/chassis package
I agree they ruled in the 1980s and 1990s
