- I built and camp in a cozy warm luxury snow (hobbit hole) bushcraft shelter deep in the mountains of the Cascades. Complete with a stove, fireplace, bed, windows, door, staircase, and stream, this is the best snow shelter I've ever built!

I love the variety in your videos. It probably isn't easy to stay on the same snow topic without repeating yourself. And yet, you do it! Between chasing snow storms, camping on an iceberg, a ski trip in Switzerland, driving on a frozen lake, building the coolest huts, and teaching us a few scientific or survival things here and there, it never gets boring, even when the entire video is silent!

That took you 2-3 days or more to build. I love the winter, the ice and snow. I love to winter camp. A Hobbit hole in a snow bank. The thing about Hobbit holes is that they are warm and inviting,,, this has the inviting part down. What about the warm? I mean it is made out of snow and ice and at 33 degrees it’s going to start to drip. lol
I was expecting an issue with the camp stove. But there doesn’t appear to be any.
What a way to enjoy a get away.

Man, we used to do this when we were kids in upstate NY lol. That 1993 winter storm that was record breaking. . . we made something even bigger. It had several rooms in it with windows. Yours is way more stylish though lol.
