- This video is actually an older video I forgot to post, so no I didn’t blow up the pink motor again. The first time I rebuilt it I went with the wrong piston size so I ended up borring the motor .050 over. Along with a new WSM crank and ada head. You can always go back and watch me rebuild the motor and explain how to do it!

Theres a lot of money in the parts drawer. lol. Im debating a high comp head this spring. Motor is tight at 150psi so Im not sure if I should do it this season or wait until next season. Going to need to replace crank seals sooner than later. That sucks about your motor. At least you have an excuse to put some fancy parts on it, I guess. lol. Cheers.
Even if the motor has good compression throw a girdle head on it and bump the PSI to 185-190. Crank seals are easy, hard part is taking the ski apart sadly .
Just put in fresh seals and deck the oem head. Keep it below 180 psi so you can still run pump gas!!!
@@AtimatikArmy I’m at 185 psi and still run pump gas
@@AtimatikArmy How much do you shave off the head to get approx 180?
Aww man. I thought this was your fresh motor at first. Phew
Thank god it isn’t, I hope it doesn’t pop again
Wow, it ran like that? So it looks like it's been bored at least once before without your knowledge.
That or just really clapped out
So in other words, your friend had absolutely no idea what he was talking about? lol
Yeah pretty much lol, or he didn’t care enough to take the time to do it right. Either way not correct at all
