When switching from an 1/8 mile outlaw setup to an nhra 1/4 mile car what kind of rear end and trans gearing changes do you make and do you change to a different kind of transmission entirety? Thanks

It takes us about a day minus changes to the engine.

We still run a man’s transmission but the rear gear is limited to a 4.56 and we ratio the trans to accelerate the car with the shallower rear gear
