Great question. We have always done it without issues and thats a big reason why we say to put oil on that stuff before putting the bike back together so the o rings don’t start to dry out and crack. 😁
@@RealDirtScootCrew if you havent had any issues with that plastic oil screen, then I guess Im not going to worry.. I used non chloirnated brake cleaner as well.. but going forward will not use brake cleaner. thanks for getting back to me.
@justinvictoria410 of course. It’s what we are here for! U can use solvent as well if u want to feel safer. Just make positive you get it all out before u put bike back together and still use oil to live your o-rings 😁
Is the brake cleaner safe on the orings and plastic screen ?
