We have the same issue with our lights. Also if a neighbour has the same lights they can turn your off. We had this once 😳Thanks for sharing love that awning..👍🏻Graham

Thank you Graham. I was assuming that it may be because the signal could be the same for lots of awnings on site, but it would unpair during the day too. Not a major issue really, so simple to pair again, almost as easy as switching on and off (when it's paired of course LOL)

Hi Chrissey. Thank you for your kind comments. We love our awning and friends recently purchased as well as they’ve always liked sitting in ours, the colour and the single point inflation. The Caravan & Motorhome Club sites are renowned for their almost souls defeating and strength zapping hard standing and this was the first time out with the awning when we filmed this. Since then, we have tried many pegs and it’s certainly worth having different types for every eventuality. Rock pegs and a good sturdy heavy mallet are a must for most club sites with hard standing. We also us the drill pegs as well and if the ground isn’t too hard, they are brilliant, easy and quick to use especially if you’re carrying a drill to wind up and down the caravan feet. Thank you so much for watching and many happy travels and time in the awning. PS the fly screens are brilliant. We love to have the panels folded down and screens in.

Yes have a motorhome but too carry a drill and screw top pegs for the windbreaker (which I can't see us keeping) I'm so excited to take it with us to North Wales this Thursday for 5 nights take care all x

Thank you for watching. We're very happy with it. It's a nice size and gave us a lovely bit of space whilst we were away.

Just catching up. Looks a nice awning and the carpet looks well made. Thanks for sharing. Phil👍🙂

Hi Phil. We're really pleased with it and the awning carpet (Kampa) worked really well on the hardstanding. It cushioned the stones well, but you still had to wear shoes when out there, but that's to be expected I think. I thought after years of stepping on lego bricks, I'd be man enough to walk on stones.

Looks like a very nice Awning. We are very pleased with our Kampa Air Pro 400. Very easy to setup. I too reverted back to the manual pump because the electric one took so long and made such a racket. We've also had exactly the same issues with our lighting remote control too. Great video .... thanks for sharing this up.

It does seem as it is just one of those things with the lighting. The awning itself is fantastic and we're very happy, but that pump makes an almighty racket. Had the site been less busy and I wouldn't have disturb anyone, I may have left it to see how long it took. Still, small issues that don't distract from how much we liked the awning.

Thank you. Still finding my feet with putting together these vids, but I'll get there. Need to be a little bit more aware of where I position microphone and hopefully eliminate some of the issues I had recording this one and the next one I have already recorded.

Great overview, enjoyed it :) interesting how with this Club and the Vango Montelena manufacturers are going back to the more traditional style this year for more room inside with the vertical walls.

It's one of the things that drew us to this awning. I liked the traditional lines and style of the awning (as I remember them being when growing up) but with the added bonus of being inflatable. Also at 6'4" head room was always a consideration too. First impressions are good, so I hope once it's really put to the test we're still happy.

Nice video mate! Shame it’s unlisted!! Really nice awning. Sounds like you had some audio issues at the end. Cheers Oliver

Hi Oliver. Thanks for the heads up. I don’t know how I made it unlisted. Didn’t even notice. Been in and changed setting. Thanks for watching.

Great video and awning. We have a Kampa awning and are really please with it. I have noticed that you haven't closed the values on the internal tubes. They should be closed in case of a tube failing, at least then the whole awning doesn't deflate. Look forward to your next video.

Thank you Steve.Much appreciated you taking the time to view and leave a comment. You are more eagle eyed than us with the inner support beams. First time out the bag and wether excitement or just plain stupidity, I totally forgot to close them and didn't even realise until it came to take it down. Hopefully something i'll remember next time.

You're welcome, just remember to open them before you deflate. I have forgotten many times.

Lovely awning ! Can i ask what make your table is please , its just what we have been looking for x

    • @CarrsCaravan
      @CarrsCaravan  3 ปีที่แล้ว

Hi Vicki. The table is the Kampa Element Large. It doesn’t seem to be on their website any more but a quick search on the internet still shows many independent stockists still have them. The only thing I would say to remember is as the top doesn’t fold down/in half, you have to have somewhere to store it. Ours fits under our island bed, but it’s always worth having a measure as struts and supports can get in the way under the bed. We really like the adjustable legs on this table which helps to always make sure it’s level and at the perfect height to use and eat off of. Thanks for watching and any more questions, please feel free to ask. Dan.
