For all the haters here, chill. Jeff and Linda RULE. You have no idea how awesome their show is and it just shows you don't get it. We have been OBSESSED with VAPI since we discovered them back in March and plan our evenings around watching VAPI. If you don't like this show, you don't know what you're missing.

The story of that house was the lady that lived there would run down the battlefield because the battle was happening right there, and would give water to the soldiers and I believe she would help those get to safty that needed medical attention and bring the soldiers to the house. I live in Spotsylvania and love down town, I hang out there even at midnight with my friends at Benny's. It can be creepy, I know Chatham Manor and Kenmore is haunted, even Spirits on Caroline St. I heard was haunted. But I believe the whole town and streets are haunted because I get weird feelings walking around at night or going into those old thrift shops lol there are still bullet holes in the buildings from the civil war. If you want some real creepy action go to Bloody Angle over at the battle of Spotsylvania courthouse.

I used to haunt Fredericksburg in the 1970s. 😉 Nice little Southern town, nice feel to it. Every time I go down #1 to get on 3 to go to the mountains now, I want to cry. #sprawl

Fall Hill, in Fredericksburg, was where I had my one extremely convincing experience of the presence of a ghost. I was visiting my then girlfriend who was living in the upper floor of Fall Hill. This was in 1972, and Fall Hill was owned by Mrs. Lynn W. Franklin, a very impressive woman. My girlfriend and I had gone to a local coffeehouse and enjoyed the singing of an African American woman who was touring the coffeehouses in Virginia. I don't recall her name, I'll just call her Olive. After her delightful performance, we invited Olive back to Fall Hill to drink tea and chat with us. Olive had quite a life, she hung out with the Merry Pranksters, knew Owsley, had been into Black Magic, then White Magic, Pentacostal Church, etc. We had been chatting with her for a while when suddenly she looked very shaken. "Are you all right?", we asked. She replied: "Do you know you have a ghost in this house?" We told her that we had heard the stories of Fall Hill having a resident ghost, but that we had never had any direct experience of said ghost. "Well, she is standing over by those steps. She is an American Indian, about 19 years old.", was Olive's reply. There is no way Olive could have known about Fall Hill's reputation of having a ghost. She was only in Fredericksburg for that one day's performance, and did not even know the name of the place where we were.

A detailed history of the Fall Hill resident ghost is found in The Ghosts of Virginia
by L.B. Taylor Jr. I only found this book recently (April 2018) and was delighted to read about the history of the ghost that Olive saw that night in 1972.

On time driving at 3 am from lake Anna to northern va, I was near spotsy courthouse and saw one light coming up the road, I figured maybe it was a motercycle, but it was headed off road into a field area, as I got closer, and realized there was no road, the lights light was moving slow as if it was a horse buggy that was holding a light to see ( best guess I could take) very weird. Looked up on gps earlier that day and was next to a battlefield

The Innis house is not haunted, it was standing during the battle of Fredericksburg in December of 1862, you can see all the bullet holes in the wall, and I have taken a tour of the house. I have been to the Sunken Road many times as an adult one time as a child. I have never encountered anything spooky other than the history itself, as many Union soldiers died here as well as confederate. The big hill has a national cemetery at the top, dedicated to the the Union soldiers who died here. The hill is constructed in a series of levels like steps. A very interesting place. At the top of the hill you can look down on the road below and also sort of across the Fredericksburg skyline. It's "creepy" value is a matter of opinion. It is part of the Fredericksburg Battlefield Visitors Center, the carriage house is a gift shop. I have even collected black walnuts from the large black walnut trees on the property.

Evp's can show up at anytime and anywhere, I always listen for anything that could be a direct response to what you might be saying or perhaps what your discussing.
With that in mind, Checkout some interesting sounds I noticed.
I know you can hear many voices in the background but listen to areas at 36:37 about the "odd season" and you can hear what sounds like a quick whispered "Yes",
also at 37:39 while mentioning the coffee lid you can hear what sounds like a whispered "We Know" but both of these sounds are different from the background noise.
Now after watching video, It's Time to Eat!
