    I find it interesting that Catholics seem to be focused on Christ and the joy that comes through faith, while protestants seemed focused on.....well protesting the Catholic church

      Read and learn something new, not only do we read the Bible but it was the Catholic Church who put it together, that is the (New Testament). around the year 350-450AD.
      The Protestant Church is not the Author of the Bible. your first Protestant Church , was when Martin Luther, Protested against the Holy Catholic Church. and the ball is still rolling, to date: 40.000 thousand Christian sects. and counting.
      all claim to be the true Church, But none can be traced to the Apostles.
      The Catholic Church is the Church that brought the Bible, to the World, 2000 years of History. in the early Church the Bible was written by hand over and over, and has been studied over and over, for the last 2000 thousand years, The Catholic Church has volumes and volumes, and volumes, of books, from the Church fathers, in reference to all the Chapters of the Bible.
      You can find these in the Vatican Library.
      and most Catholic Universities.
      you guys really are a joke you like to attack our Church, but are Ignorant of Church History, most of you Christians act like there was no Church prior to the year 1500AD.
      But there was it was called and still Called. One Holly Catholic and Apostolic. I love the fairy tale. stories I get when I ask Christians where the New Testament came from. where was the Christian Church hiding for the first 1500 year of History. no answer. Because there is none, and the answers I get are like fairy tales. nothing solid, no foundation, you guys are taught to lie, and hate Catholics, bottom line, most of your pastors would not have a clue about Church History, most become pastors overnight, 3 months. that in it self is a joke.
      So using the Bible against the Church that put it together only makes you guys look like buffons. learn facts then speak.
      By using the Bible, that was put together by the Catholic Church you are accepting a Catholic Truth, If you reject the Catholic Church as a Christian Church, then you must reject the Bible, that was put together by The Catholic Church.. think about it?
      Your question poses a dilemna for Protestants. They think the Church never had authority, including proving inspiration (not just assuming it) and the final compilation of the Holy Books at the Synod of Hippo in 393 AD. If the Church had no authority, then the books of the Bible must have gathered together with "true believers" reaching a consenses by the Holy Spirit telling each individual leader with no required authority. This theory is absured.
      Historical revisionism takes the place of historical facts, because if they admit the Catholic Church had the authority from God to compile the Bible in the forth century, then they must admit the Church's authority comes from Christ Himself. They have to admit there is more to Divine Revelation that the written word alone. The authority of scripture is a Sacred Tradition of the Church.
      The early Christians had no Bibles for 300 years becuase there was no such thing as a Bible as we know it. So what was their authority? Private interpretation? It didn't work well for Arius.
      Revised history makes up lies about the history of the Bible for the sole purpose of discrediting the authority of the Church, although they inconsistently make no mention of the fact that their New Testament has the same list of books that the Church made canon.
      Canon 29 of the Synod of Hippo (393 AD) made the first list of books, including the ones that Martin Luther threw out because they didn't suit his opinions.

    I also am a convert to the Catholic Church. I studied the Bible for many years, and believed it to be the basis for Christianity. I searched out the church that followed the Bible the most closely. The Epistle of St. James eliminated the Lutherans. Hebrews 9:27 (and many others) eliminated the Calvinist (once saved, always saved) sects. Eventually I got it down to the Orthodox Church and the Catholic Church. The tie-breaker was one verse - Matthew 16:18.

    I am a Catholic and every time I get to know more the Church, I love her more and this Faith the Lord gave me throughout my mom (rest in peace), ... With no arguments, no scoldings, no screaming, no threats, no criticism, no attacks, no prejudices...BUT A WITNESSING OF INFINITE LOVE AND TRUST IN GOD... She never taught me to hate non-catholics, but to pray for them, to forgive and to bless... She taught me to give alms to the poor, to know the miracles, and preachings of Jesus, the Pascal Mystery: He IS GOD, who took flesh from Mary, and gave this body and soul up on the Cross for me and every single man on earth, from past, future and present.. WHETHER THEY MAY BELIEVE IN HIM OR NOT, That and much more I learned as catholic... I don't think this came from anywhere but JESUS... Don't argue, but LIVE what you believe! THAT'S THE COMMANDMENT OF GOD: "Not who says 'Lord, Lord', but he who DOES MY FATHERS' WILL shall enter in Heaven"... Testimony of holiness and TRUTH,.. that's what the world NEED BADLY TODAY..! GOD BLESS YOU!

    I converted four years ago and it felt like a "coming home" the first time I attended mass. Yes I face persecution all the time but now I see that as a blessing. I know I am exactly where God wants me to be. Thank you Jesus for leading me home. Love and prayers to all.💛🙏✝️

    I have relatives who are Protestants & I have been trying so hard to embrace their beliefs but I can never accept many things they believe: Salvation by faith alone, NOT by works (no need to follow the ten commandments or good works or behave in good ways to be saved)' & 'Once saved always saved (even if you commit murders or other vicious crimes)'

      Look, The Bible says that Good works cannot save and that the Prophet Isaiah describe our good deeds as 'dirty' tags.. But the bible also says that good works is the result of faith. Because when you have faith, you start to do good deeds, but those deeds CANNOT SAVE YOU

      Nobody, if he is careful, would say that our works save us. What makes you so sure we actually believe that? Just as we teach that one is not saved by faith *alone,* so we also teach that one is not saved by works *alone.* Holy Scripture explicitly condemns faith alone, as James chapter 2 demonstrates. In my experience, St. Paul's many epistles are cited, but here's the rub: St. Paul never affirms faith *alone.* Saying we need faith is not the same as saying it is all we need. I have found that raising the argument requires over-extending Paul's writings, or else misunderstanding what he means by works (which refers to the Old Testament law).

      You are not reading it through the Historical context. Works, as in Works of the Law, Halachik Law of the Jews. Those were the old laws, other than the 10, the 603 other Laws that the Jews thought would get them to Gods Kingdom. Those are the laws that don't allow you to act responsible to real things about the world, and the people in it. Christ came to abrogate the Laws of the past, other than the Natural Laws, and let people know that doing good Works are important to your Salvation into the Kingdom. This is always so misunderstood--all you have to do is study a little History, and Little Jewish History, and realize that Christ many times says that you are suppose to do good works in many ways for many people. Do you guys not hear His words, or is everyone just deaf to the Truth. I really don't get it, and it gets so frustrating listening to people argue over stuff you don't understand anything about, but just spew words from some Once Saved Always Saved Preacher, or Sola Scripture, or anything else you want to muster so you can all have a Savior in Jesus Christ but not a Lord and Savior in Jesus Christ. See, having a Lord means you are supposed to Obey.
      And I don't care if I misspelleedddd any words. You get the POINT, or maybe you don't.

    Now that you are Catholic, the prots will attack you endlessly, because Protestantism is built upon rebellion. 1 sam 15:23 says "Rebellion is like the sin of witchcraft" and Protestantism is rebellion

      This proves we are "Born again" of WATER (Baptism) & not just by "asking Jesus into our hearts" as the prots claim.
      ➡ Baptism is neccessary for salvation: Mark 16:16: He who believes and is baptized shall be saved.

      MATT 12:31-Jesus warned those who accused him of using Beelzebub (a demon) to cast out other demons, that there was an unforgivable sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. This sin is to attribute the works of GOD to satan.
      ➡ Judging others: Matt 7:2-The same judgement u use to judge others will be used 2 judge YOU. ..Luke 18:10- 14.. men praying in the temple. One knew he was a sinner. the OTHER one, filled with pride, instead of focusing on his OWN sin, condemmed the other man. Only one man left the temple justified in the sight of GOD. I was the one who acknowledge his OWN sins. not the one who spent his time condemming the other man

      ➡ WHY ARE PROTESTANTS SO HOSTILE TO CATHOLICS?
      Because they follow the reformers, who where inspired by the spirit of rebellion. 1 Sam 15:23 tells us "Rebellion is like the sin of witchcraft" And protestantism is rebellion. The Protestant Church was founded for the sole purpose of fighting against the Catholic Church.
      Furthermore, being inspired by the dragon (the great deciever) they reject Our Lady:
      In Gen. 3:15, there is a fight between the Woman (and her offspring) and the dragon. In Jn 19:26-27, Jesus has given his mother (the Blessed Virgin Mary) to be the mother of the faithful represented by apostle John. Surely, there is a great conflict between the Woman (BVM) and her offspring (the faithful) against the dragon and his offspring. This simply answer why the protestants are so full of hate against the blessed mother of Jesus and to the Church that our Lord Jesus Christ founded.
      Rev 12:17--Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring--those who keep God's commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus.
      ➡ THE "WISE" do not understand GOD's KNOWLEDGE:-
      Protestants percieve themselves to be "Wise" in their knowledge of scripture. In many cases it is more important to them than how they treat others. Will their "Knowledge save them?

If they knew there history and read the fathers on how they practiced and worshipped then maybe they could see the truth that we are to be obedient to His Kingdom and those he put forth as our leaders and protectors of his church. If it were not for authority we would all be Arians as saint Athanasious said woe how the whole world has become Arian. This is the bread of the new covenant(testament) NOT this is the book of the new covenant. Scripture never says that scripture alone is not the sole guide of the faith. Scripture also tells us that not everything was written down of what Jesus taught or other events in his life. The Scripture we use today came from the catholic church. If it was infallible in creating it then it was infallible in teaching the faith. Cant have one without the other.

      Patrick Montgomery I know Church history. Church doctrine the scriptures and your comments about rapists does not even warrant a response. Catholics are not a denomination, we take all.of scripture into account not a sparsed out, out of context verse splitting doctrine to fit our own doctrine. John 6 for the bread along with the emmaus account and the last supper in conjunction with what St Paul writes in the book of Corinthians about the bread we eat and cup we drink in the breaking of the bread. If it's just a communal meal then why would damnation come upon you if not that the bread and cup signify something real and significant. The whole history of the bread of the presence in the holy of holiest as well as the mana from heaven along with portions of it being I side the ark with the staff and the tablets all point to symbols that will be made real in the person of Jesus christ. Temples are where sacrafice was made jesus made fulfilled the temple with his body and each one of us are His body living stones in which this miraculous sacrifice is made real every day in continuity with the temple sacrifices of salvation history but now elevated. Baptized yes I am baptized with water as Jesus told us to do AND I am sealed in the holy spirit by the laying of hands from those who have been given the apostolic authority to minister in jesus person as scripture so purposefully details.     When I was a child I was born into a Christian church stop going to church on in my teenager years but now I feel drawn to a Catholic church for some reason but feel really nervous about going by myself mainly because I don't know how to act in a Catholic Church

      Norgie Alison wrong, the "Roman" Catholic Church didn't exist until around 330 A.D. and became the official religion of Rome in 380 A.D. under order from Emperor Theodosius I. Jesus did not establish the Catholic Church, the church Jesus founded was on the day of Pentecost when he told his followers to go and sin no more, his disciples became fishers of men and spread the gospel, these early christians were not catholics. The Catholic church was established hundreds of years later and was rooted in paganism, that is why they adopted pagan symbols and traditions to attract other pagan religions to join.

      This is the kind of thing that truly breaks my heart. As bad as the catholic church is there are so many good people in it. Unfortunetly I don't believe Jesus will except being ignorant of the truth as an excuse for being catholic. The Devil can and does work in the catholic church. It should be no surprise that he would grant all kinds of supposed miracles if it would keep you doing something he knows will lead to your ultimate destruction. satan offered Christ ALL kingdoms of the earth. He can and does all the time, grant power and many things to those that will follow and worship him. I think everyone has heard the phrase "Sold your Soul to the Devil". This is extremely real and extremely comun. I prey that none underestimate his power. I think most of us forget that at this time he has been given dominion and powers on earth. I do not think most people understand or realize before Lucifer fell he was A/number one Angle in Heaven, it was his pride that became his downfall! There are enough signs the catholic church is truly evil and pagon. Not even the greatest speaker can change fact. No matter how convincing one might be, a blue sky will always be blue. There are an awful lot of christions that are not Christians. The Bible is the inspired word of God. It is ALL TRUE. It is amazeing how many professed Christians do not believe it. It is becoming harder and harder to be a true Christian anymore. Those that are and stay faithful receive the ultimate reward in Christ.

    As a Catholic, I have been to a lot Masses. As I was listening to our priest's sermon and he was telling the congregation, that if we put Christ first in our lives, Christ will be with us in the bad times. Then just before Communion I felt the presence of Christ, sharing the Eucharist with us, the Mass participants. I even could sense exactly where he was in the church. Right in front of the altar at the bottom of the stairs....i really did not want the Mass to end. I wanted to be with Christ all the time. It really was a special experience.

    Everything Prots attack can B found in the BIBLE: Mary, Miracles, prophecy, prayers of the Rosary, Eucharist, even statues and apparitions are in the Bible. JESUS appeared 2 people after his death. So did Moses and Elijah. Don't let them keep you from truth, they work for "the accuser"

    Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit. Titus 3:5
    According to scripture there is only one mediator - Jesus. No saints, no Mary, no pope have any special access or privileges to God. Unless you are 'born again' by spirit you are dead in your sins and cannot have a true relationship with God. Salvation is something only God can give, it is not by any works of our own.
    Don't put your faith in 'the church', seek God's true word which doesn't change and cannot be corrupted.

      What you're saying contradicts the message of salvation. Those verses don't.
      It is true that faith without works is dead, it is the product of true faith. We should strive to obey Gods laws, but it is not what saves us. If it was a requirement for salvation we wouldn't need a saviour, Jesus death wouldn't be necessary and grace would not be a gift.
      Rev 20:12 is talking about those who rejected Christ, who will be judged on what they have done. Those written in the book of Life are Christians who have trusted Jesus as their righteousness, and are made righteous through him alone.
      Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
      Romans 3:28 - "Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law."

      Here Matthew is discussing our very salvation. Sounds to me like good works are extremely important to our salvation. It is true that by Grace we are saved but because of our fallen nature we can reject it any time so we must be ever vigilant to serve the lord in every way. Forget about this whole faith + works argument and just strive to BE HOLY. As Jesus said, "Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect."

    Keep I up Anna. I have kind off a similar story. My father is a Seventh-day Adventist preacher. I was born into it. When I was 14 somebody invited me to a play, after the play the young lady in-charge began some cath thing. It was the stories of the saints. I was so much touched that I began to ask God if this is the true church. God gave me a signal answer. My God's experience since that time can not be explained. Thanks Mary who helps me understand and feel Jesus.

    Mary is either resting or She is living a worry-free life with Jesus in Heaven. Jesus did not honor Mary by giving Her the burden of hearing the moans of sinners. She is SAVED!Only Jesus intercedes and prays for you, Not Mary. Only Jesus is more than enough.

It was from this Church you said has done little to teach of Jesus. This Church also persevered this word through the ages until the printing press came along so how many years was that compared to how long the printing press has helped to do this?

    Her prayer to God to show her the church and the truth struck me because it is the exact same prayer that I have prayed in the past and continue to pray. It's a matter of, "God I trust you because you are the Source of Truth and I trust You to answer."

    Willful ignorance is a choice. This amazing young lady chose to seek the truth. She took a chance but not blindly. She tested the false rumors and got explanations that were based on the bible and logic. As long as she stays on the right path, she will be saved.

    The distracting camera work sabotages the video. This testimony is worth recording again. I would suggest setting the camera up, focused on the eyes, and letting it run. Then do your editing as needed.

    @hansikelo do you know exactly (in detail) what their prayers are, and the full context of their prayers? anyway, we pray to the saints because we believe they are with god; so whatever the prayers are we actually indirectly pray to god, and god knows all our prayers doesn't he? and he knows the reason we pray to the saints is because we know they are his best friends who are always with him...so praying to the saints actually we glorify god IN them.

    I was a lapsed Catholic from age 20 on. I just didn't have a relationship with God. I had completed my 9 First Fridays with Mass and Communion when I was 9 years old. One of the 12 promises of Christ for completing the 9 First Fridays is that you will not die estranged from God. I did not even know about the 12 Promises when I was 9 yrs. old. From age 40 on I kept having Visions and Messages regarding the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The last messages I received were distinctly..."the Sacred Heart of Jesus", so I looked up the Sacred Heart of Jesus on the internet and it is integral to the 9 First Fridays. Christ brought me back to God and my Catholic faith.

    It was a great gift I was given .. I never expected an instanenous friendship with my dad., Though I believe the seeds of forgiveness were planted . My mothers abuse continued though and I moved on with a talent and a reason . My mother and I would always talk about The Lord and my dad didn't like it seemingly . My mother told me once she went to Cofession at a place of an Indian massacre of priest in NY .. and the voice she heard changed .. and she heard " I am Jesus "

    Being a former Catholic my issue was that it's not just Christ working through believers alone it's Jesus + XYZ. It's a mix of biblical truths and what people of the church have injected in over the centuries. also the scriptures make it very clear that only the Trinity can hear and answer prayers not assumed saints based on works. In Luke 1:47 Mary says "And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour" so even she needed salvation and though blessed does not have the triune power to answer prayer

    I was brought up Catholic. When I was 7 my dad told me I couldn't talk to God until I went to confirmation he told me God won't listen to me and said many things he made me feel real bad I can remember this. And I said in a low voice God does here my prayers. At 7 years old God audibly said follow me And I will always hear you. I fellowship with Jesus. I talk to him He talks to me. God hates religion. Please read your bibles. I love Catholics I don't agree with there doctrine. But if a religion helps you to be closer to God than that is good.

    A story was told she said .. He spoke of my father , me and my sisters . . About the problems of my father , about me . and I'd be the first of the children to return . , For years I went through terrible times but I'd hear something inside . I felt compelled . I felt understanding . I would still fall though ,my mother died 5 years ago in the house I built her and my dad . My dad would call me and ask me to help her to eat "Cancer " .. seemingly I was the only one to make it happen

The sacredness of life is a tradition of the CC is this not important or a way to seek God as we try to protect the weakest among us? Feeding the poor (which the CC does all over the world) is not important and a way to seek God in the poorest among us?
