This is the video I needed, I'm currently using the truthear reds which is my first ever IEM and I absolutely love it, I can't go back to headsets after using these. I've been thinking of upgrading to the moondrop blessing 3 for a while but was kinda scared thinking about spending $300 on an IEM when the truthear reds already sound amazing but this video answers it all. Now I gotta decide if I want to get the blessing 3 or the dusk xD. Liked and subbed!
@@trainer4900 nice, enjoy! I went with the hype 4 and xenns tea pro instead, but both are in the same style of tuning as the dusk, just slight variations of “new meta”.
i think after a certrain price point like like let say $300 Canadian, you do get diminishing return, but yes I agree my thieaudio hype 4 does sound a lot better than any other iems I ever owned.
i think it’s a waste of money to buy expensive iem without additional amp dac, your mobo or phone can’t drive them to their peak performance so you basically losing your money worth.
Think it the other way: IEMs are much easier to drive compare to full-side headphones, so the money you spend on DACs/Amps doesn't improve what you think it should be.

I'm glad I could help :)
Dusk has a fuller sound, closer to your reds. the b3 is thin sounding.
@Hijynx87 yup you're right! Just got the dusks today and they sound perfect, similar to the reds but better

I have the same ones you do. They aren't good at all compared to other iems. Good for your first pair but urge u to move up
