I love parkruns, have surprised myself at some 10ks as I think the support at them pushes you along. I really like the local 5milers I have taken part in. have my 3rd hm next year so hopefully better myself. having discovered running rather late I just love events ✌🏼🌱
I'm with you on marathons Craig. You feel obligated to have to run for the whole distance and as a result, feel generally rubbish most of the way through. I feel far more comfortable in a very hilly 50 miler, than I ever have done during a flat 26.2.

Hated the 2 marathons I’ve done but enjoyed the 100kms.
100 miler is on the list but need to focus for that beast!
I've only done 4 of those distances in races. I think I'd go with 50k and half marathon in the top tier, closely followed by 5k and 10k. 👍🏃♂️
