imagine palm's situation.. his dad is arrested and mom died right in front of his eyes all because of the boy he's in love with. Now imagine how nueng is feeling..

@@dominitian94 me too. we are talking two high school students. one just witnessed his mother being shot and had to shoot two guys to safe his skin. now on the run and his bf decides to push him away. Palm is devastated and then has to process this before he even had a chance to grieve the loss of his mum. he has to discern Nueng just condemned himself to a life in solitude, is doing this out of guilt and out of love to protect Palm - it may be easy for us to see this from the comfort of our chairs but for an 18yr old hot-headed and short-tempered student?
@@embreis2257exactly, after all that’s happened, most people at this age would of let him walk away. to only then work their way back to each other eventually. But in this case, after thinking about it for a while, Palm was always dedicated to Nueng no matter what due to his initial assignment of protecting him. However now it’s much more than a job giving him more reason to refuse to let Nueng break it off from guilt that doesn’t belong to Neung in the first place. Plus: They already lost a lot as a pair. No point in trying to face it alone after all that went down

Palm screaming was the only way he could've let out his frustrations I like that when he pushed Nueng he suddenly came back to his senses and tried to help him. "Mr. Nueng please don't leave me" 😩 when palm was having the flashbacks I couldn't hold my tears🥺. also phuwin did get hurt on his arm when he was pushed by Pond the director wrote it on Twitter and he also praised them for portraying their characters so well. Pond nailed the scene him in the bathtub.

Palm was bonding with his mother and in such a short time he got the opportunity to know her and like her, so he was frustrated and hurt and pushing Nueng so suddenly was a reaction, so Nueng reacted even worse trying to hurt him back, because he feels guilty of what happened to Palm’s mom. The fact that we can see those raw emotions from them, it adds more to the things they are feeling, it’s more realistic since they are flawed characters and one is grieving a loss, so we can’t always expect a fairy tale situation between them. Also, they are so young and already have been through hell and back and this is just the beginning 😥 I know they regret hurting each other, but sometimes they can’t help the things they do or say to one another. Palm somehow had a closure with his mother and before he didn’t have her, but now he has good memories and a better way to remember her, she was not just a woman that abandoned him, she was the one who risked and lost her life because she protected him and the boy she knew he loved 😭
Yeah😪palm was bonding with his mum, I ddnt see her death coming so soon and nueng blaming himself for her death, I feel bad for both of them, hoping they can end up together after all these ups and down.
Palm's Mom nailed that scene she died while protecting them which is what every Mom would do in the end she died a hero in Palm's eyes 🥺

Presumably Nuengdiao thought that everything happened because of him and therefore, decided to take all responsibility and sort out everything by himself.
In addition, it is probable that people trying to hurt Nuengdiao will first kill Palm so that there is nobody in their way.
Therefore, Nuengdiao might also be pretending to hurt Palm so as to prevent Palm from following him, in case they could both be hurt.
It's just my guess. There are only three more episodes. I hope there will be a happy ending, e.g. the real people behind will all be dealt with and Palm and Nuengdiao will be together for real. Perhaps Chopper and Ben also.
@@deusyukon3531 Nueng is feeling guilty after seeing what happened to Palm’s mom just because she was protecting them and then he saw how much Palm was hurting, he could feel his pain. It was very telling what Nueng would do at the end by the way he was telling Palm of a life without him, so in a sense he was telling him he wants better things for him, he wants Palm to be happy and alright, so he was selfless at the very end and left him, he even knew how to write the letter in a way Palm wouldn’t follow him and he used very well a bracelet that it was meaningful for them both, he used it to his advantage, pretending it was not that deep when it was.
With Palm’s mother death, Nueng knew Palm would be in so much danger, he connected with Palm in such a deep way that he doesn’t want anything to happen to him. It’s was a necessity to leave him, and I’m glad he did that. If Palm wants to risk his life and go after Nueng, it would be his decision. Both are really young to carry such responsibilities, but Nueng can’t fight against someone like his uncle, so he really needs Palm and Palm won’t let him alone.
God, the way Palm shut down his emotions right there HURT. When he said they had to leave and just straight faced, emotionlessly said "She's dead." it really hit. Very well done scene, I'm absolutely crying. Heartbreaking.
I felt that too. When my dad died I had to be everyone else's strength I couldn't process it for a while. When your faced with more than one tragedy at a time sometimes you can't break down and cry or loose yourself you just move on auto pilot
"I'm sorry I can't drink with you . If I drink , I will be a burden to you" I felt like this sentence had a much more of a deeper meaning , Nueng always feels like he's a burden, he feels like everything bad happens because of him , I wish that in the future he doesn't feel like this anymore because he really isn't a burden, he's a gift
To be honest, I agree with you, Neungdiao is not a burden to anyone nor to Palm, but he's a gift because if Palm didn't meet Neung, he wouldn't be able to meet his mother, wouldn't be able to bond with her, and knows her love for him and his father. Palm wouldn't be able to act upon his heart if he didn't meet his mom.

When Palm and Nuengdio spent so much happy time in the previous 2 episodes I just knew that this week they are surely gonna fight . Their happy moments don’t last long 😢
Once ep 6 came and they had to escape I knew they would be fleeing and almost dying around 9-10. I just had to wait 🥲

Gotta praise Pond and Phuwin for the raw emotion in their acting. Top notch skills. The gut wrenching emotions they are portraying couldn't have been easy. * tries to type through tears *

The beach rock scene was so intense! great acting by PondPhuwin love seeing how much they matured as actors. These roles came at the perfect time for them. I was worried that Palm would believe Nuengdiao's hurtful words, but he didn't. Never Let Me Go indeed. I just hate that Palm is in this level of pain. And Nueng feels so guilty when it wasn't his fault, he's just a victim of an awful, selfish human being it being his uncle.
Sigh* Such teenagers at this age having to go through all of these troubles. I feel bad for all the teenagers in this series, except for Phum, but at the same time, he's also a teenager. I also feel really bad for Chopper for having to be born being his uncle's son, Neung might also have to go against Chopper because of that reason and it shows in the teaser of episode 10. Sigh*

i actually really like that both neung & palm are flawed characters in that they're young, reactive, & therefore immature in ways that can lead to them unjustifiably lashing out on each other in a traumatic situation. neither of them are at fault for the awful words (& actions) exchanged at the beach. rather, it's a sign that they're both inexperienced with handling grief (no teenager should have to be anyways, but i digress)
I am glad Nueng didn´t leave Palm. This is the moment he needs him the most.

realising that both palm & neung lashed out at each other in the heat of the moment, but neung was able to bounce back promplty to take care of palm in this trying time for him because... he gets it. he gets how hard it is to grieve a parent at such a young age...
Not just at a young age, but they both also lost one parental figure at the age of 18, same age, like why? sigh* I know that Neung has becoming stronger emotionally and mentally, but I hope Palm will be too, so they can be mature together.
Nueng is so entitled, everytime Palm must always be the one to give in... i hate it, Tops should be more in control, and Bottoms should be the submissive one, even they have the money
The fighting scene was on point. It was so painful. It was so well preformed that I was able to understand what each character felt and the reasons behind their behavior. The reaction of Palm, the arguments Nuengdiao said, everything.
I can't imagine the pain that Palm felt. He is in a difficult situation. This is probably his worst nightmare. His mom just died in front of him while his dad was wrongly accused and got jailed, while he and Nueng is on the run. Their happy moments may be short-lived but I think and i really hope that they will end up together living happily in the hostel that Palm's mom owned and create a happy moments again. I got so carried away with this episode that i shed tears. So full of emotions.
the acting skills are increasing from episode to episode
The mother of BLs that I liked the most so far was Palm's mother. High-spirited woman, determined, without prejudice, happy, happy with life... I thought that at the end of the whole plot Palm and Nueng would get married on the beach with her celebrating the wedding of the two boys.

god, this episode made me cry. even though palm's mom isn't perfect, i could tell how much she loved palm and she cared for him truly. the bond between palm, neung, and his mom was so precious that having the two of them lost her is so painful

Is anyone else as distraught as I am that Palm’s mother actually died. She never fulfilled her duty as a mother, to raise Palm, her only son and was only beginning to reconnect with Palm towards the very end. Taken too soon, i hope her sacrifice vindicates her from all that 🤍
i think it's interesting & sad to note that both palm & neung lashed out at each other in ways that were really in line with their characters (palm lashed out physically, as a reflex, with little to no thought or purpose behind his actions whereas neung lashed out emotionally & logically, with the intent to make palm leave him for the sake of his safety)
Nueng being considerate I can feel his pain much blood is flowing because of him and Palm not wanting to let go of him wow such an amazing bond they have I wish they get happiness so sad palm mom to die I was just starting to love her character yet in a min time she's no more 😔😔😔😔

Los personajes de Nuengdiao y Palm están muy bien escritos porque veo que Nuengdiao reconoce su responsabilidad, no es taciturno ante la situación y es transparente al mostrar lo que siente , Palm mantiene la calma pero está llorando y tiene la cabeza activa para cualquier momento que suceda.
Palm gritando después empuja a Nuengdiao y Nuengdiao aceptando la responsabilidad de lo sucedido además le dice que todo es mi culpa.
Me impresiono esa escena, llore pero fue impredecible cómo asimilaron la situación.

Wow. I am flabbergasted! PondPhuwin are really delivering their scenes and their intense moments together as so believable and beautifully heartbreaking to watch. Stunning cinematography combined with amazing actors with incredible chemistry! Truly such an iconic scene in BL, the moment on that beach. Nueng and Palm are so in love, and PondPhuwin really made all of us root for them and follow their love story. It's really amazing to watch. I also cried so much this episode.

Wow, Phuwin & Pond's chemistry as well as acting has only improved/gotten so much better since Fish upon the sky. I mean ofc there was pretty good acting and chemistry between them there too, but here in this series, they are way too good. Ofc I was aware of Phuwin's talent ever since I saw him in Gifted graduation. But then I saw Pond and him in Fish upon the sky and thought Pond was pretty good too and that they had good chemistry, but I'm loving Pond so much in Never Let Me Go. And i have always been in awe of Phuwin.

Also look at Phuwin's face, his eyes, wow the emotion was portrayed so well. 💖💖 I have loved Palm's character from the start, but I like the character development of Nueng. He's not typically rich and spoilt, infact he's pretty mature and sorted

I hate when couples say hurtful things and break up at such hard times, and I'm so glad that palm didn't let it separate them. He had a reaction naturally but realized its not neungdiao's fault and stopped him before further damage
My mom died 11 years ago when I was six. This episode was the hardest for me cause I know how it feels like to lose someone you've spent very little time together
It has been a lot of BL series since I cried like this. All the situation and metaphors and everything really touched me. I have been really loving this series is really refreshing, a new and different trama and a beautiful but really hard love story

Nueng is both crushed because of the suffering his personal matters are causing to Palm and terrified that Palm will be the next to face tragedy in order to protect him. He lashed out with those hurtful lies because he think it's the only way to get Palm away from him and, therefore, to protect Palm.

Okey! esta escena es perfecta, entiendo a Palm al fin al menos grito porque estaba frustrado de todo lo ue paso, tambien a Nueng el le dijo eso porque no queria que le paser nada, lo quiere cuidar... los dos estan heridos y viviendo cosas muy fuertes :( Palm se acercaba a su madre y comenzaba a tener un vinculo con ella excelente ambos actores

2:31 this was the moment Palm became the biggest green flag I've ever seen. After seeing around 200 BLs I would still not go back on the fact that Palm is one of the best characters and NLMG is one of the best series I've ever seen. Oh, and look at the bgm in that scene. Man, I would kill to be in that moment my entire life.
