I’m so glad you still make time to do soaps for fun, it’s good for the soul! I’m a pastry chef professionally but I know I always try to make time to make desserts for fun when I can.
Well it was propably the roughest day in my life today. There is just one day that can be compete with today but I have to give props to that other day because I got lots of money and it was supposed to be good and it became good at the end. Today did as well but not that good like the other day did get awesome but today was just like exhausted me being happy that everything turned out good and that's okay but life could be nicer.

I'm loving that cinnamon twist soap the best - it's the prettiest, although the baha blast looked great too!...Those taco embeds are the best embeds for sure though.

I remember actually sending a design in for ramen, i spent so much time on that lol. But soap collections based on different countries would be great. Especially one based on US foods

Came home with a Quesarito, checked youtube for something to watch while I ate it, was not disappointed. They are all so perfect but that baja blast soap just has the most pretty blues and teals. Definitely gonna try and order a set. They'll look so good for when I move into a new place and have a nice bathroom to decorate.
I’m torn between the Baja blast and the cinnamon twist!! Both are so good in terms of swirl and color, but I also gotta give mad props to the dedication in the taco embeds. Overall the soaps just look really fun! 💜

I LOVE Taco Bell. I was diagnosed with celiac earlier this year, and by far I miss Taco Bell the most. There are gluten free options, but it’s so severe, I can’t chance cross contamination… Ugh I miss the 5 layer burrito so much😭
Hey! I was diagnosed with celiacs nine years ago. It gets so much easier! Gluten foods sort of … stop registering as food at some point. Glad to hear you are being careful, Taco Bell is a definite avoid (they use flour as thickener in a lot of unexpected places) but many Mexican and Tex Mex restaurants will be fine! Qdoba and Chipotle are great options, get a bowl and your own gf burrito and diy it! Always ask people at places like that to please change their gloves if they have been handling wheat products like tortillas. And at an ice cream place very nicely ask if they can get a fresh bucket of whatever ice cream, and a fresh scoop, since a scoop which took out cookies and cream, got a dunk in water, then went into a gf option will have contaminated the whole gf tub.
I’ve had celiac for a decade now and I remember that my last meal as a free person was a Crunchwrap supreme 😂. Luckily mine isn’t super severe, so I can cheat occasionally and just deal with the consequences. I would be lost without a soft taco now and again 😅

Wanted to comment to say that when they were all lined up in the loaves still, I pointed it out to my bf who is in the room with me but not watching and although I said they were taco bell soaps he responded "nice and you can eat them?" So I already thought they looked awesome but wanted to add my boyfriend thought they looked edible. Fantastic job 😃

These soaps are absolutely ridiculous! 😃 My favourite is the nacho cheese one. Even with the not-so-vibrant yellow it still looks so incredibly cheesy! 😂 But the absolute best thing was seeing Katie have so much fun making these. Her laughter is totally infectious! 😃

Yes! Awesome to see colour & texture variations within the frosting, makes it so much more fascinating to look at when it's sliced & interior of the frosting becomes visible? Some of the bars have incredible sprinkles & embeds on top, & gorgeous marbling in the bar itself, but somewhat bland monocolour frosting when sliced & viewed in side profile? So I get extremely excited when there's a design which has texture & interest all the way to the top! 🥳

For me the frosting toppings often look amazing from above, but somewhat "blah" from the side, due to their side profile when sliced becoming a solid block of single colour without any interior texture...? Seeing a block with so much complexity in the bar, frosting AND top decorations just makes me suuuuper happy! 🥰 Thank you Katie!
that baja blast freeze soap is absolutely PRECIOUS!! the salt slushier effect is one of the coolest things I've seen (also I'm a sucker for baja blast teal)

Suggestion for the nacho bar in the future: add jalapeno imbeds inside the bar (ya know, like the moon in a landscape soap - maybe?) It would break up the yellow with green. Cool soaps!

Suggestion for the nacho bar in the future: add jalapeno imbeds inside the bar (ya know, like the moon in a landscape soap - maybe?) It would break up the yellow with green. Cool soaps!
