Kim. You should get some shelf liner. You know, that sticky paper; so you can line your desk with it. It wouldn’t take you more than a 1/2 hour to do. Plus, if you buy it at the 1.00 Store, it’s so cheap.
I did that with a big board I put over a metal stand and turned it into a printer stand, I also took 2 wooden shelving units we made and I used to use to house bird cages on when i raised birds, but got out of the birds and wanted to keep the shelves for my pantry so i cleaned them up used the dollar tree shelf liners and now they hold my kitchen appliances in my pantry and look amazing :D and I have one i my office to use for storage.
You motivated me to tackle my paper hoarding situation on my desk! Think I burned out my paper shredder and a blanket of yuck! Now I just need to buy the pretty things to make it neat! 💜 Thanks Kim!

It is about 6.5' x 2.5' and was piled about 6" to 8" high on all surfaces around my keyboard, monitor, printer, and stacking trays. It was fun to watch you as I declutter, sort, shred, and toss. I should have taken a before photo as you showed your "before." Way to stick with it!

I'm a server and haven't worked since Nov of last year, yet the hardest, while trying to declutter my wee apartment. I watch as much content related since covid19 began for us last March (2020) I get so overwhelmed with the 'new' news and updates, now I have media fog and nightmares. So my quarantine therapy is this 'hot mess' apartment. Donations have to wait as well, as we stay at home and await more info. I am grateful for the big picture and really love the little things. I was rewatching your desk vid for like the 3rd time and I like your diffuser. Try using one of your phone plugs that the cord detatches. It should use a USB cord so it might work. There are metal bars preventing me from using the holes individually- but it was upside down however when it’s right side up it only allowed two slots for folders so I flipped it back upside down 😂😂👏🏻🎉🎉 make sense? Lol
I do the inside of my desk like once a year and it is amazing what accumulates. I also have a camera graveyard, mine includes a dslr that my husband is still salty about not being used.
I look forward to your videos, I giggle every time! I hate cleaning up my desk/crafting table/computer entertainment area. BTW, I have two pen holders, one for bright colored pens, and one for dull black and blue pens (no, I don't abuse them...LOL.) And several pens still in their packaging, and lots of calligraphy pens floating around my desk area. Oh, and in a filing cabinet I have a baskets of sharpy pens and high-lighters..............I have an obsession? Maybe?
I bought one pillow for my husband five years ago as a gag gift for Christmas. Joke was on me when he ended up loving it! They have since multiplied...

Here’s a tip for kids art work ( but only if u want it 😉) ...take a pic of it and to go even further print it ( place several in 1 photo so they will be small) then cut them out...should be 3”x3” then laminate them and put a magnet on the back of them...place them on fridge and great gift for family members 😜

I look forward to your videos, I giggle every time! I hate cleaning up my desk/crafting table/computer entertainment area. BTW, I have two pen holders, one for bright colored pens, and one for dull black and blue pens (no, I don't abuse them...LOL.) And several pens still in their packaging, and lots of calligraphy pens floating around my desk area. Oh, and in a filing cabinet I have a baskets of sharpy pens and high-lighters..............I have an obsession? Maybe?

Here’s a tip for kids art work ( but only if u want it 😉) ...take a pic of it and to go even further print it ( place several in 1 photo so they will be small) then cut them out...should be 3”x3” then laminate them and put a magnet on the back of them...place them on fridge and great gift for family members 😜
